It started when the Raiders left.  A lot of Raider fans were left drifting and looking for a home.  They found Dodger Stadium.

Wasn't that like 25+ years ago?

This throw deserves the MLB thread.

  • So in 2009, my daughter and I were in Omaha at the CWS.  I got an email from her softball coach saying that they had a kid drop off the All-Star team and would she want to replace her?  But she'd have

I doubt it.  It was the biggest crowd in the majors this year, and tonight is supposed to just as big.

Yes.  It was slow and steady.  It took 25 years to get to where it is today.

There was a shitton of Estrella Jalisco and Michelada fueled mayhem from people who seemed like they were there for no other reason that to stir shit up.

You may need a few.  BOOM!  Will Smith is why we were willing to give up Ruiz for Scherzer.

Fun sports night. Shohei pitching against my Rangers, Dodgers/Stros barely overlapping then USA/Australia Olympic semi in basketball.

Very little chance he makes the post season roster

They're experimenting with moving the mound back? Why? Isn't hitting in a good spot right now?

Seager was lights out in the NLCS and WS last year.  So there’s that.

Let's all enjoy this one again as Correa pisses all over that Dodger Stadium crowd just edging itself in anticipation of their fake tough guy Joe Kelly striking him out. You can't do anything but tip your cap to Carlos Correa there.

I'll enjoy it while I also enjoy first place and best record in the AL.

Enjoy the win, Scherzer pitched great and the Dodgers bats got to play beer league softball with Odorizzi. You know that Dodger fans have a hard-on for Joe Kelly for that one silly face he made while he skipped his way back to the dugout. You know the beef between those two and you know 52,000 really REALLY wanted Correa of all players to strike out in that situation. But to turn around and take him deep like that??? You cannot deny that man that moment. That was big balls.

#2339

Given the pitching matchups and absence of Bregman and Yuli, 100% of Astros fans before the series started would have been content with a split if it included a Correa bomb off Kelly.

Joe Kelly is garbage.  My least favorite MLB player.

He can kiss my hole ass.

#2345

Completely unsurprising that people are in a thread acting stupid as fans (no issues there) and somehow Helobious comes in and outstupids everyone.

#2346

And major lulz at any Astros fans thinking Correa did something by something by homering down 5. Compare that to A-Rod igniting a comeback win at Fenway by hitting a bomb to center after getting thrown at by Dempster. That’s what a fuck you moment looks like.

You are never not a clown.

Major lulz at you for taking an immensely entertaining man-to-man showdown between two players who hate each other, that happened just last night, and making it about you and your Rio Grande Valley Yankee fan feelings.

I would've gone with the most recent one, but that works as well. :)
