also, Boston, who looks to be a lock for the playoffs (all remaining games against Baltimore and Washington), just pulled Chris Sale, B6 in a 2-2 game.

This throw deserves the MLB thread.

  • So in 2009, my daughter and I were in Omaha at the CWS.  I got an email from her softball coach saying that they had a kid drop off the All-Star team and would she want to replace her?  But she'd have

Bichette called out at 3B on an attempted steal. he was safe, but the call couldn't be overturned because it was too close. huge moment here with the Jays down 3-2.

My personal opinion matrix has come down to - Jays make the playoffs, Vladdy MVP. If not, Shohei MVP.

I almost made a comment after his first steal about him being 25/26 on the year.

Oops.

Stanton just put away this game, and with Cole on the mound tomorrow, NYY has to be loving their chances right now. not to mention that Boston just lost to the O's.

0-2 and to bring the tying run to the plate in the 8th inning. Totally intentional.

Joe Kelly was not on the 2017 Dodgers team.  He was actually playing for Boston in 2017 and 2018 who were also stealing signs.  He needs an ass beating.

It's for show and for butthurt fans. The fact that 99.9% of players don't have a problem with the Astros is a pretty big tell.

Not to delve into this yet again but saying that 99.9% of players were fine with it is an outright lie.  Many players spoke out about it being wrong and the punishment too light.

And just got the nod on the Dodgers/Padres tonight.  Clinging to hope for a division title, as slim as it is.  Need a win and a Giants loss to really have hope.

Scale of 1 to 10, how nervous are you about the Cards?

What the fuck is happening? I just wanted to watch baseball. Why is ESPN doing this to us?

Oh my God they're still talking about fucking Billie Jean King. I don't care. Fuck you ESPN.

Scherzer 0-59 for the season. 0 walks. .000 OBP. Most futile season at the plate for a pitcher in MLB history. Never reached first all season.

@Huckleberry

Good lord this Pads bullpen.

Oh my fucking God are they actually going to blow this?

Omg I'm dying. 4 fucking homers in 1.1 innings.

You can put all the all-stars you want in the infield - if you don't have a pen you aren't doing shit.

God this is just the chef's kiss on their absolute meltdown of a season.

What a game to go to @Sbbruin

San Diego seems totally checked out. Kind of depressing.

What a comeback. Probably won't catch the Giants but you can at least have some nice momentum going into the WC.

It is kinda funny that maybe the greatest hitting pitcher ever currently plays in the AL. Tough pill to swallow for the anti-DHers. If there’s a freak that can hit/pitch well they’ll get that chance. I don’t know that there’s much entertainment value added in watching 8 guys hit & 1 guy being an automatic out every game.

So not proof to back up your statements?  Keep talking out of your ass then.

This is the internet, right?

Astros fans love to pretend that they’re everyone’s favorite team & that everyone loves them. They’ll blatantly ignore all of the social media world celebrating their playoff exits & the fact that pretty much every star player condemned their actions. Trout, Harper, Scherzer, Judge, Bryant, Betts, etc
