April 3Apr 3 ARLA 32 is a high-purity urea solution (32.5% urea, 67.5% deionized water) used to reduce emissions in diesel engines. It's also known as DEF or AdBlue. Piss is a slightly less pure solution of urea and water. I go to a friend's house and start drinking beer. He has a great selection, from some good NA beers, to Oklahoma near beers, all the way up to double IPA's in the double digit alcohol percentages. I've got to get my diesel truck inspected tomorrow, and the DEF tank is empty. Assuming I did nothing but drink beer at my friend's house, what alcohol percentage, how much, and over what period of time would I need to drink, and when would I go piss, in order to more or less piss out the right ratio of urea to water?
April 3Apr 3 Did you know that if you hit a Bottom's G-spot and their gag reflex at the same time, their body takes a screenshot.

Per this link, urine is about 9.3 g urea/liter, so a little less than 1%. So you need maybe 35 times as much volume. You will add a lot of salt which probably borks things up, but you do you. More beer probably won't help though, that just means you pee more water, and there is probably not much (if any) increase in the amount of dissolved solids, they just get diluted more. https://chem.libretexts.org/Bookshelves/Introductory_Chemistry/Fundamentals_of_General_Organic_and_Biological_Chemistry_(LibreTexts)/29%3A_Body_Fluids/29.08%3A_Urine_Composition_and_Function

April 4Apr 4 18 hours ago, T’Boo Ted Marshall said: Why do I see people parking sideways in their driveway? My kids would whip into the driveway at an angle, blocking both sides of the drive with what they called "NASCAR parking" and thought it was hilarious. Then I'd make them get the fuck up and move their car so my wife and I could get out of the garage. They don't live at home anymore but will occasionally do it when they come visit. It still infuriates me and they still laugh about it.

April 5Apr 5 I should not have drank so much whisky before working on the performance evaluations for direct reports. Now they're either getting great reviews, or fuck yous, depending on how I'm feeling. And the manager evaluations are due tonight at 11:59:59. (I should have started earlier)

April 5Apr 5 My wife bought it. It’s been in the snack cabinet for several months. And I’m either eating this some other vile Chinese snack that she has bought.
April 6Apr 6 Why does the HEB commercial jingle say Chili with no beans, but HEB has chili with beans in it?

Prior to, and during, WW2, chili almost always had beans in it. In the aftermath, beef producers started ad campaigns claiming that chili without beans was REAL chili, and that only plebes added beans. All the arguments in favor of chili without beans come from those ad campaigns.

I was taught Chili Con Carne was beans with meat. Me, I can take it either way.Fuck the haters. Add too much heat or salt and you do not cook well. Why do I worry what is on TV for my dogs when I go out? I tend to put baseball on since they say the word Ball all the time. His ears always perk up.

April 7Apr 7 A couple of cool things we saw on the final leg of our flight back home. 1: Gate Agent recognizing Military Service members and we all gave them a round of applause. 2: After getting off the plane, came across several family and friends with signs waiting on said Service Members. Sort of wished we had stuck around to watch.
April 7Apr 7 The bar oil chamber on every chainsaw known to man has two fill levels: 1) is there even any oil in there? and 2) completely overflowing. There is no in between.

April 10Apr 10 I don't understand the argument for the "zipper" method of entering a line to exit on the freeway. I've heard twice now that it's the efficient method, but it still just sounds like being selfish to me. It's only efficient for the one cutting in line, there's a 95% chance they are making the person behind them brake, and thus starting the chain reaction of braking that causes backups. The constant braking chain reaction is what causes the backup, not that "not everyone is zippering". Did dumbshits just make up a term for "cut the line because I'm too important to wait" and try to make it sound like it's reasonable?

Well shit, plenty of dumbshits never find out. It's a new day for me... (I guess in theory it would work great. I feel like I see different every day, but I'll take their word for it that the traffic would be 40-50% worse if the galaxy brains stopping a 2nd lane of traffic to try and zip their way to the exit in the last 100 feet didn't exist).
