Their Double Oak is outstanding and I also enjoy the Cask Strength.

Did a little stock analysis after the holiday dent and moved things around. I keep telling people that I don’t have a problem.m, but they’re not apt to believe me...

I bought a store pick of Sagamore from the Oak Cabinet in Austin. It wasn’t cask strength, but damn it was good. Maryland’s reputation for making good ryes is well deserved.

Did a LOT of damage yesterday.  Too hungover to take stock right now but may need to do some reloading.  There's a couple south suburb liquor stores that have consistently good bourbon stock.  I try to keep those top secret.  No pappy but just about anything else seems in play.  Happy new year to all of you fellow degenerates.

If they BTACs at MSRP, I’m driving to Chicago.

One of my favorite parts of the tour was an interactive map of pre-prohibition Maryland where you could explore every distillery. Blows my mind that at one point there were over 50 in the state and really nothing survived outside of a few brands, Pikesville being one of them.

Interesting to think about what the booze and beer landscape would look like absent the disruption of prohibition.

Definitely not consistent but they have had some in the past.  The hunt is half the fun.

Let me know how that bad boy drinks, I have one coming from a friend who recently came back from a cruise.

If you have a problem Taco man, then I am clinical.

Save some BTAC for the rest of us, hoarder.

Plenty out there for you to grab too.

I grabbed a screenshot of that beautiful ridiculousness to use if anyone ever tells me I have a bourbon problem.

At least tell us how.
It's out there to grab. Just gotta grab it.

I’m more annoyed than impressed by this for some reason. Mostly envy, I guess.

I’d suggest you watch the documentary ’Neat’ and pay special attention to the last few minutes and the story he tells.

Would be a pain in the ass to set back up after my wife packed all those bottles in boxes and moved them out to the garage after I got particularly shit faced.

Btw. I would be happy to take one of those bottom shelf WLWs off you if you ever need to few up a few hundred dollars.

Bottom shelf WLW’s is not a phrase I have ever heard until just now.

I mean that is beyond “clinical”... you should be institutionalized.

Mostly so I can come and grab some of that goodness.

My LAWD!

So you loaded up when BTACs weren’t very popular? The line dates back to 2000.

Yeah, some I’ve had for over a decade, Pappy as well. Used o walk in to a store and it was on the shelves.

We all know that there is a shitload more to it than that.  I remember buying the LotB I have for $35 off the shelf.  I dont have 20 of them though.

I did trade for quite a bit, but I’d guess you are right if I tallied it.

So to the man with $$$$$ of booze in his reserves cabinet,  what's in that mason jar hiding in the back on the bottom shelf of your open bottles?

Got a call from my bourbon fairy god mother. Might want to check some local ATX Specs.

Out of curiosity, which Specs? I think that my store just runs a local list and doesn't allocate off the corporate point list.

Knob Creek 12 has hit Texas.

I bought a bottle in Amarillo 4-5 weeks ago, have not cracked it yet.

‘Maybe I should get a couple more just in case.

Anyone that has one post a review.  I am intrigued.
