I’ve kicked a tremendous hole in my bottom shelf. Anything of note off the well worn path for under $40?

Off the beaten path? No you of all people know the beaten path at the middle shelf is all pretty good- OF86 & 100, Craig, Weller, Larceny, etc

Assume that was directed at the NBC? Must say the maple Jack is damn tasty.

Keep your phone on. I’m sure there will be a fair amount of wine guys/scotch guys/bourbon purists that pass on corn whiskey at any age.

I’d much rather have a HH17, but yeah, I’ll take a Mellow Corn 20.

Where are you seeing these?  I haven't seen ER10 on the shelf in over a year.

The newish Spec’s on Fountainview is already booming.

Yeah, it'a nice Spec's. And not too picked over right now. They have more "desired" bottles available right now compared to other non-Smith St. locations.

I stretched my budget a bit and bought Rare Breed for $45 on the nose. Now if I can find some Pikesville, I'll be set.

RIP $50 Fiesta Maker's Mark Select picks. I popped in today and they wanted $70 for Tim's pick. Who dafaq is Tim?

Well…thank god this is over….

Just not my thing. I can’t blame you. Young rye with a clever finishing trick to mask it, but a mask all the same.

Pikesville on the other hand. Just outstanding.

What is the trade value for a 1L Weller 12--bottles, not money?  I'm probably going to keep it, but it's one of the few bourbons from the latest grand reserve raffle that I already have, so I'd consider trading for something I've never had.

It’s MGP but don’t know how old.

I believe it’s 4 year MGP (in Spanish Oak barrels) and then aged another 2 years in American Oak barrels. It’s great stuff, especially at the price point (I believe around $55).

Do we need to do a Surly Pick of this to show those TexAgs waterheads how a pick should be done? I have a buddy who works for Skip’s who could probably make this happen.

Just poured the last of last years batch. Thankfully I’ve never had to pay more than $70 for any of the 3 bottles I’ve gotten.

I researched it over on TexAgs and of course they did the pick through Oak Liquor Cabinet.

Rebecca Creek’s MGP bottles have really impressed me. Does anybody speak RC? It’s pretty tough to tell if a bottle is MGP based on the label.

I hope they keep sourcing and don’t get cute and start mixing in Texas distillate.
