Anyone play this back in the day? My buddy and I got back in and started playing. Realize that there is an entire ongoing community that is consistently upgrading the game with patches. Steams version is 3.1 and they just released v 9.7 through the community.

Pretty fun.

Well if interested, here is the link to the newly patched version - https://taesc.tauniverse.com/

They actually added a third tier of factories/units. It's like twice the size of the original factories as well. Sorta fun to play with some added content.

Time for a quick skirmish on metal heck.

Ok, Total Annihilation ESC (escalation) is so much more fun. Lot's of game balances and the third tier of units are nuts.

Loved that game, the depth was just incredible. I was never very good at it, but loved it. Not sure if I have the time to dip back in now...

damn i played this a long ass time ago.

i do not need another video game addiction doe

One of the best RTS games ever. Played the absolute shit out of it back in the day.

I always played Arm because they were "the good guys", but it was kinda dumb because it seemed like all the Core units were just a tick better than their Arm equivalents. And then Arm had no answer for the Krogoth, so if the game got to that point it was curtains.
