Hey I thought we all agreed not to overreact to our team sucking this weekend after a week with no practice?

Are you new here?

Zubia’s skills at 1B are somewhere between clown show and train wreck.  He makes even the routine outs at first look tough.  Brutal

He played surprisingly well there last year.

How many games last season?

17? Not sure.

That's the first 0 we have thrown up since the 3rd inning

Maybe put Petrinski there? Isnt that where old C go to die?

"Every HR we've seen today has been hit." No shit?

Not patient at the plate, chasing off speed, slow reacting to heat...etc. Stuff that can be fixed with more AB’s. Couple of errors as well. They look pretty rusty today against a solid team with a damn good bullpen. Regroup and be ready for tomorrow.

Love these TCU fans right in front of us cheering every Miss State run. Fuck faces.

Maybe we should be looking for pitchers in the Atlanta exurbs. That's 10 batters and 9 whiffs.

Nice debut for Melendez

Move him up in the order.

Finally showing a little fight

Pat Combs "took one in the wrist, took one in the chest..." Fascinating.

18 strikeouts 😳

No practices in 8 days straight into a top 10 matchup will do that

We need to wait quite a bit to pass judgement on this team, but this was not a great start.  Our hitting (talent and approach at the plate) has been terrible under Pierce.  If he doesn't turn that around this year, he's gone.

WTF was there an hour between the first two games?  No need to get fans in and out when they have all day passes.

Ark-TT may be 8:30 first pitch at this rate. In theory, tomorrow should be worse from a time perspective.

Ole Miss up 4-3 on TCU after 4

Both teams have to get on the field to warm-up bodies, arms, etc.  Then both teams get to take full IF/OF warm-up.

Also, TCU just got hosed on a HBP that turned into a non-HBP and K instead (thanks to replay). But the fascinating part is that thanks to the CoVid rule about coach/umpire conversations and coaches not being able to cross the foul lines, Schlossnagle was ready to light some umpire up, but they overturned the call and all of them proceeded to move to the middle of the IF and not even go over and acknowledge him. Honestly it’s kind of a chickenshit rule that allows umpires to blow a call and then run and hide.

In addition to the above explanation takes a good bit to prepare the field again

First pitch for the night game is at 8:20, I imagine our game tomorrow will start around the same time

He'd already be gone save for one AA season from Clemens and Covid.

Tech walks in a run.  1-0 Arkansas going to the bottom of the 5th.

Going tomorrow, was gonna see Texas-Ole Miss but now get Texas-Piggy.  Hopefully we picked up some hats for bats this afternoon...keep bats warm, cuz they was cold as fuck today.

Raiders up 2-1 w/ no outs. Pitching change.

5-1 and still no outs.  Big inning for Tech.

HBP, BB, BB.  Just what you want to start the inning after you take a big lead.
