Who's the DH now with Davis and Calhoun out?  Hoping we can take 2/3 @ KC to start the year.  Surprised we aren't facing Duffy.

Lowe will probably DH against righties, it could be a scrub like DD or Culberson against lefties. We don’t have shit else for RH pop on the 40. There will be some old vets cut by other teams, but there’s usually a pretty obvious reason why they’re available.

Heim has made the team as backup Catcher.

Dunning, Hearn, and Benjamin made it as well.

Tepid, Sean Bass and Scott Lucas had a Rangers pod last night.  I assume the RodPod is done.  This one is called Diamond Talk.  I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone listened to it?

Listened to this pod today.  Fuck it I'm excited.  I don't know why. I just want to be in a better position in October than in April.

They were asked who will be the MVP this year and Newberg said it better be Kipp Fagg.  He can't fuck this up, then I got sad

Listened to that today also. He wasn't saying there is no way for Kip to fuck it up, it was more like he better not fuck this up. That's the way I heard it anyway. (he's gonna fuck it up)

Long fall for DD.

DD is a great dude.  Hope it works out for him

Found this, it's on The Ticket's app.  Supposed to come out every Wednesday.

It's a good pod. Good listen.  Sean Bass does a good job of keeping it moving

He threw 7 no-hit innings tonight with 10 K's.

A week after throwing a no-hitter in his first SEC game, he throws 7 no-hit innings and gets pulled due to pitch count. That’s 16 straight.

Starting to think the debate will be if the Rangers will take Kumar Rocker at #2.

Pitt is cheaper than we are. Leiter comes from $. They’re taking Kumar.

Leiter, being a sophomore, will have a shit load of leverage too. Can easily return to Vandy.

I thought it was a foregone conclusion that he was gonna be our starting 3B.

I still think he will be, but there’s always the chance he did something stupid to piss Woodward off.

I'm fine with just cutting him.  Let someone else manage it until Jung is healthy.

I wouldn't hate picking 1.2 or better next year.

I have a real bad feeling most of Ranger fandom is severely overrating Jung. After his broken foot heals, just let him collect a shit-ton of milb ABs.

Holy shit. We're done with him.

That's 100+ less team total strikeouts for the upcoming season.

Odor will undoubtedly be reformed with some yankeeass team and become a perennial All Star.

Hyped and brittle, already fits the perfect Rangers hopeful can't-miss prospect profile.

I wished Rougie hadn't gone to shit.  But it's best for Texas and best for him.

I'm glad it's done

Is there a right and a wrong choice between rocker and leiter?

I think Leiter but I'm not sure.

According to Tepid, Rockers fastball was only low 90s last start without much command. That could be just an off day or it portend some bad news.

Fingers crossed

Roogie, thanks for punching Bautista.

Now see ya later.

Actually he’ll hit like 97 homers next season for Baltimore before fading into Bolivia.

And Rougie will be our OD 3B.

Not so fast my friend...,

Rougie is one of those guys that you think he probably isn't as bad as he gets a rap for and then you look up his stats and see that he led the MLB in strikeouts two seasons ago while struggling to stay above .200 and then posted a negative WAR last season in just 40 games played.

Maybe he just blends in to the roster for me as he wasn't the only horrible starter we had last year (to expound on this - if you want to read something depressing - Rougie actually had the highest SLG% of the 9 hitters with the most ABs for us last season)

Welp, the losses count for real now.

Win total is sitting at 67.5 on my online book.

Schedule on ESPN is showing the rotation to be Gibson, Arihara, Lyles, Folty, and Dunning.  Guessing Benjamin and Hearn will follow Lyles/Dunning as the tandem starters.
