I don't think it works that way for at least 4-5 seasons now and who gives a shit about home field advantage in the WS these days. Ain't no home team won a WS game since 2018. July 15, 20214 yr Sam Huff. Per Tepid. 495 feet. 111mph exit velo. Such an easy swing. I'm all in on Sam. Mainly because what choice do we have but also because you know....this

July 15, 20214 yr Nice prediction tidbit from CBS Sports. One of the few things the Rangers have had some decent success with in more recent years is finding dirt cheap rejected players that turn out to be pretty good, at least for a while. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/2021-mlb-midseason-awards-cbs-sports-staff-picks-for-mvp-cy-young-rookie-of-the-year-and-more/ AL Rookie of the Year: Adolis García, Rangers Adolis Garcia TEX • CF • 53 BA.270 R43 HR22 RBI62 SB8 View Profile First place Second place Third place Points Adolis García, Rangers 5 - - 15 Luis Garcia, Astros - 2 - 4 Akil Baddoo, Tigers - - 4 4 Cole Irvin, Athletics - 1 - 2 Nick Madrigal, White Sox - 1 - 2 Casey Mize, Tigers - 1 - 2 Emmanuel Clase, Cleveland - - 1 1 Back in February, Texas designated García for assignment and he slipped through waivers unclaimed. Any team could have had our midseason Rookie of the Year for nothing. Instead, he cleared waivers, remained with the Rangers as a Triple-A player, and got called up to the big leagues when the team dealt with injuries in April. More than 20 home runs later, he is the league's top rookie, and it's not particularly close right now either. The Rookie of the Year field behind García is wide open. The six players above all deserve consideration (Madrigal's season-ending shoulder injury will take him out of the running for the full season award, however), as do others like Randy Arozarena and Shane McClanahan of the Rays, Astros outfielder Chas McCormick, Tigers lefty Tarik Skubal, and White Sox youngsters Michael Kopech and Andrew Vaughn. Garcia is head and shoulders above the rest of the AL rookie class at the All-Star break.
July 16, 20214 yr 6/2/noon is about as bad as it gets for a weekend series. Watching all 3 games against a good team in a AAA park sounds fun too. Ibanez at DH is just putrid.

July 18, 20214 yr Shut out game 1. Game 2 with Folty and probably some of the regulars sitting should be fun.

July 20, 20214 yr Wait. It got worse? Yesterday, I noticed that Toronto had 15 runs to our 4 hits during the double-header. What would it take to run this ownership out of town?

July 20, 20214 yr I love Woody and would like nothing more for him to succeed but you have to at least be competitive. 39-2 since the all star break. Scoreless, for what, 25 straight innings? They're just getting raped. Managers don't last much longer when these things happen. Neither will Woodward.
July 20, 20214 yr What, pray tell, is there to love about the guy? He’s not exactly been given a whole lot to work with but he also hasn’t done much to inspire confidence that he could do better if given more talent to work with.
