Recent callup I'm assuming?

He has a 1-1 record and 5 ERA in AA and AAA this year. This might be interesting. Cool opportunity for him, though.

Mom and dad are at the game. He went 1 2 3 in the 1st - maybe we get a decent start from him.

Welp. There's homer #1. He was inches away from giving up one on a foul ball and the 3rd hitter in the first almost jacked one. Welcome to the show.

1 ER through 4. Shook that dinger off.

Now if we could quit doing things like leaving the bases loaded...

Getting fucking shelled in the 5th.

Gave us 4 good ones at least. About as much as you can ask. Looks like he's getting pulled.

4-55 for Leody this season, that is fucking impressive.

As impressive as the -0.8 WAR in 17 games?

Ryan Dorow MLB debut, playing 3rd batting 9th.

Leody wears a lot of jewelry for a guy hitting fucking .071.

I see Lyles is unwilling to just conceed the worst starter in MLB award to Folty.

9 hits in 3.2. Bumped his ERA from 5.33 to 5.70.

Post your spreadsheet, yo.
Haven't updated in a few days, will post in the morning.

I'm starting to get the feeling that Rangers starting pitching generally isn't very good.

Also our relief pitching. And fielding. And hitting with runners on base.

At what point would you have cut it off? Or did you figure the return would start going up and balance out the losses (which looks like is exactly what happened).

Garcia was a huge part of that early May success, I figure he wouldn't keep it up and the pitching would show its true colors.

Yeah, that's why I kinda hated to see Gallo leave. There's no telling how good Garcia will be in the long run, but the odds of him being a long term cornerstone for the offense are questionable at best. At least he's a good defender. Maybe the pressure of having to carry the offense is part of it, and not being surrounded by decent bats, and having been scouted more thoroughly by opponents. There's not a lot left to build around and I'm not sure the Rangers have hastened their progress towards non-suckage with the prospects they have acquired.

He's still having a nice year. Cooled off on the long ball a bit. Not sure about a cornerstone but he projects to be a pretty good part of the lineup.

He's also been moved all over the place on D - I wonder if that's something that might get in his head.

I think he'll be good, I just don't want to count on him being what he was in the first half of the season. Yet, I hope he can be something like that for years to come.

Pretty packed house and we're on the board first.

Chewing up their releiver now.

I'm having fun. This is fun.

Well this is going to shit quickly.

I don’t care. gimme that #2 pick. lose ‘em all. 2023 is when this gets good again.

DJP fucking pissed all over that.

450. Maybe we can steal one? I'm watching the end of this golf tourney - might have to go double screen.

Just in case anyone was curious, Alexy was part of the Darvish trade.

Fascinating. 3rd starting pitcher MLB debut in less than a week and we haven't hit September yet.

Alexy looks like a future number 1 starter. Cy Young candidate. perennial all-star. headed to Cooperstown.
