Why do you hate illiterate people so much ?

Check out this dumbass motherfucker.

He comes in all talking like he’s supposed to be intelligent. He’s bitching about the place he lives in and there’s a whole gang of dudes that just makes him shut the fuck up.

At one point he tries to justify his smooth brained nonsense but continues to look like a complete fuckwad.

Presumably this volcano in Iceland aint really gonna blow, but if it does, my give-a-fuck-meter would stay pegged at zero.

I’d go. Fuck it. Hell of a way to go out. Take a picnic for dinner and a show

Given that these people have a lot of Viking blood in them, they’d probably be okay with going out this way.

Yeah - killed by volcano.  There should be a yearly contest for best/most interesting cause of death on a death certificate.  Best I've personally seen was "killed by ostrich."

A pet ostrich almost took out Johnny Cash in 1983 -- first outright, by opening up his legs and belly with its claws, and then by the relapse brought on by the pain pills.

But that also reminds me of a story I read in a book about India called Chasing the Monsoon. This Englishman loved torrential rain so he went down there and did just what the title says and it required lots of traveling, much of which was on Air India, which at the time, the early '80s, was a terrible airline. Every single plane was hours late, he wrote...One time he was in line with this cynical Indian dude who had become very blase about it all, and he told the Englishman that to keep from going insane, he had grown to appreciate the creative excuses he'd hear them use to try to explain away the delays.

"The best one I heard one year ago -- they said 'The 9:50 flight from Bangalore has been delayed. A tiger has eaten the pilot.'"

Bump because this thread title seems to fit.

But the seven Chilean burglars who targeted the star athletes over three months late last year also made some rookie mistakes that allowed law enforcement to eventually catch up, as detailed in a 20-page affidavit included in a federal criminal complaint unsealed Tuesday.

In the document, the FBI lays out how the gang members were undone by allegedly posting photos for co-conspirators to see via an iCloud site.

Images obtained and released by the FBI show three of the alleged burglars, along with an unidentified fourth man, posing with watches apparently stolen from the home of Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis Jr. Largely because of the images, the men are in federal custody and have been charged with conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property. They could face up to 10 years in prison.

Article is ridiculously long

In India during the monsoon season, streets get super flooded and you have to wade in them, but also a lot of manhole covers are missing and so each year a non-zero number of people get sucked into them and drown underground in Calcutta street runoff.

When I was about 5 or 6, our neighborhood creek flooded to rather impressive heights. Our house was on the side of a hill, so we were unscathed, but my older brother wanted to go out and "see" the water. My mom reluctantly allowed him to go but since I was always tagging along, she told him he had to hold my hand because of the reason you cite above. I looked at my brother's toothpick arms and decided to stay home. Skeptical kindergartener is skeptical.

Oh I was never thinking it did.

I am starting to think that democracy might be a terrible idea; because an uneducated ignorant bigots vote counts the same as anyone else.

If it is remotely similar to drop off/pick up at the airport, yes.

My two favorites, those who don't think the rule of waiting in the wait zone are applicable to them and those who decided a family reunion is applicable in this area rather than parking and meeting them inside.

I guess if you’re the wealthiest man on the planet, sucked billions from the public trough, and get to run the entire government to benefit you personally and your businesses, then you probably do have a different perspective
