I took out this bastard last night.  Poor shooting I must say, but I kilt him eventually.

Looked like Michael J Fox for a minute there but you got him. 😂

Little Rojo broke his arm last week, and we thought his season was done. He took it upon himself to learn to shoot lefty, practiced for two days, then went out and hammered this guy.

New motion activated pig light is awesome.  No pigs Saturday, but looking forward to having something to do when we're at the ranch this summer.

Also got some skeet shooting in.  Wife (no pics) is getting better and Murphy the dog is in mid-season form.

Man, that's a ton of big Axis.  Looks like a great place and someone's going to get a steal with it.  Aoudad?  They seem to be all over that part of the state.

I've seen Aoudad on neighboring properties but not mine.

You had any offers on it yet?  Curious if it is under either ag or wildlife exemption.

Good!  Axis are hard enough on whitetail.  Aoudad's tend to bully both and they aren't worth a crap to eat.  Man, love those pics.  Good luck!

No offers yet.  It has a 1-D-1 tax valuation which is the technical description for saying my taxes are only a little over $200 last year because I did 3 out of 7 things.  Having water troughs (three of them) is one thing, feeding protein is another & clearing cedar is the third.

I'm selling my 53 acre honey hole of a property in Kimble County.  If you don't believe me that it's an extreme honey hole then click on the link to see the game camera pics.

We hunted one season on a piece of the 700 springs ranch just south of Telegraph.  Nice country and lots of game for sure. /csb

Backups are in case something happens & it doesn't go through.  One example could be the buyer can't get financing.

Anyone have a rec for axis hunts?  My mom wants to get me dad a hunt for his birthday.  From talking to a few folks, it sounds like you can shoot a decent one for between 1 and 2k.  Is that reasonable?

I don’t know a good price. There’s a place close to me called Big Oaks that sells all kinds of hunts. Strangely enough, they just posted about summer axis hunts on Facebook. Not sure if it’s bow only or gun and bow.
