May 1, 20187 yr Welp, if you've seen Infinity Wars you know both of these characters along with Hank Pym are MIA. What the hell gives? Good cast with Rudd, Lily, Douglas and Pena all returning. Also adding Michelle "White Gold" Pfeiffer, Fishbourne, and Goggins. New Poster: New trailer out tomorrow some time..... teaser for it:

July 8, 20187 yr Just saw it, good fun. Just about par with the first. I really like the way they can show actors as their younger selves. Spoiler:When Furious Styles walked in I was stoked.
July 8, 20187 yr Just saw it. Decent movie, not great. Did not get my money's worth (family of five) but we're way ahead on Marvel movies so not going to start complaining yet.
July 9, 20187 yr saw it, give a 6.5 out of 10. I thought they spent way too much time re-establishing the back story, which I didnt really think was needed. Felt that slowed down the movie. I was laughing at a lot of the scenes, especially all the ones with Michel Pena. so it wasnt great, but it wasnt terrible either but having the 3 get dusted in the middle of the experiment.... yeah thats wowzers
July 9, 20187 yr I really enjoyed it. After Infinity War, it was a fun, light summer movie. Yeah, except for that one thing. So that was the 20th MCU movie. Amazing.
July 9, 20187 yr The story itself wasn't great, but it was still a fun and hilarious movie. Very true. Definitely a disconnect your brain movie with good performances all around. EL seemed to have aged between films. Or maybe they just gave her bad hair. Wazzzuuup!
July 9, 20187 yr I actually thought one of the weaknesses of the movie was the nonstop barrage of comedic relief moments. They know that those moments have been perhaps the biggest reason for the MCU's success so I guess they thought "let's just throw one in every 30 seconds because more is always better!"
July 10, 20187 yr First Marvel movie I’ve ever fallen asleep on. Nodded off for about ten minutes. Did go see the 8pm show which is a little late for this old timer...but still. 3 out of 5 stars.
July 10, 20187 yr Kinda made me wish Wasp had made an appearance in Civil War like originally planned: http://comicbook.com/marvel/2018/07/01/ant-man-and-the-wasp-captain-america-civil-war-hope-van-dyne/ instead we just got Ant-Man Edited July 10, 20187 yr by atomheartbevo
July 10, 20187 yr Thought most of the jokes fell flat. My 11 year old thought it was hysterical. I guess I wasn’t the target demographic.
July 10, 20187 yr I enjoyed it. Think i would've enjoyed it more if i didn't keep waiting for "something" to happen all movie. Will be cool to see how this one ties into Avengers 4. So now we have to wait until March for another MCU movie?
July 10, 20187 yr My wife kept screwing around and wouldn’t finish all the movies so she could see Infinity War. She was asking tons of questions after the credits scene. Luckily IW is out on digital formats at the end of the month.
July 11, 20187 yr Decent movie, nothing special I wonder if Wasp mentioning time vortices in the quantum zone could tie in to the Time Stone / going back in time for IW 2? Edited July 11, 20187 yr by satyanash
July 11, 20187 yr My biggest issue with the movie is that it gave itself away in the first 5 minutes. Once you saw a young Michelle Pfieffer, it was obvious they were going to save her since there's no point in hiring her unless you need an old lady later on. It also didn't make much sense that she aged with the explanation that time doesn't exist in the quantum zone. She should've been the same age when rescued 30 years later.
July 12, 20187 yr Did she say time doesn’t exist? Thought she just said that things were different down there?
July 12, 20187 yr That’s a good point about MP, I thought the same thing (big actress, we’ll see her again). It was noticeable that they just ignored how she survived down there for 30 years. I mean, where did she shit?

July 12, 20187 yr I have numerous thoughts/daydreams about how Michelle Pfeiffer shits. I don’t need it explained in a movie.
July 12, 20187 yr It was meh but not terrible Spoiler All this talk about the quantum realm and it didn't seem like there was much there other than when Hank went in for a few minutes and at the end. Just expected more from the movie and it seemed sort of lazy. A few tweaks and could have been much better. The jokes/comedy didn't seem to hit as well as in the first one. Going in no way would I have expected this, but I'd say a bottom 3 or 4 Marvel flick as of now. I probably need to see it again but kind of a downer considering it's 10+ months till Captain Marvel.

I guess they expect us to use our imagination after hearing her say something like "down in the quantum realm things/time works different". My imagination is usually only good for porn.

July 15, 20187 yr Very good popcorn flick. Nice that Marvel has cultivated such a range of talents (both actors and directors) and can give them their own platform while still tieing into the main story. The first one (which I have in my Marvel top 5) was obviously better but honestly other than Guardians 2 (which is in my bottom 5) and the underwhelming Dr Strange movie I’ve really enjoyed phase three.
July 15, 20187 yr Meh on the movie but holy fuck the trailers I had to endure. First and worst, Crazy Rich Asians. Wow. Shallow, formulaic trash with some of the worst one liners I’ve ever heard. Followed by The Predator which on the surface looks completely soulless. Ending looks pretty obvious. Followed by some Kevin Hart movie about getting a diploma. One scene involves two characters making Psh noises at each other for 45 minutes. It did not set the tone well for the feature presentation.

July 18, 20187 yr Probably the best credits scenes of any Marvel movie to date. Overall, somewhere in the middle of the pack. There are better and worse MCU films overall.

Wait....they can cover Michelle Pfeiffer's bathroom activities in a movie? Is there like, umm, a Kickstarter campaign for such a production? Asking for a friend.
July 22, 20187 yr I hope that in the Janet Van Dyne quantum realm spinoff movie everyone is talking about we also get to see what she did for sexual activity all those years. Saw it last night with the kids. Agree that it wasn't as good as the first one, which is to say the first one was really damn good. I'd probably give it a 7 out of 10.
July 22, 20187 yr It would be indiegogo as Kickstarter requires a working prototype.Potato, potahto, Michelle nekkid, profit.

I've liked most of his stuff quite a bit.
