there's so much to unpack from today, so i'll just start listing them. tuesday was devastating for oakland, today was twice as devastating for the yankees.  they had just started to play better.

The boy and I were at the last ALCS clincher - we were walking on air for days after Altuve’s walkoff. Today, the boy is 5,000 miles and 7 hours away, with no way to watch. So we did a video chat, w

I just don't get the same feeling with this team as I did with 17,18, and 19

That we would make it at least to ALCS if we just made the playoffs,  not sure about this year.

You had a better feeling about our under .500 team last year entering the playoffs than this one?

Ya idk last year felt like we had more mojo even with all the losses.  I think we are a little soft this year.

That’s wild. I don’t remember anyone at all thinking we’d even survive the first series last season.

Even in 2017, the end result has made us all forget how unreliable our bullpen was by the end of the season. Pressly, Graveman, Second half Raley, and maybe even Stanek are all better than anyone we had in the pen that playoffs.

in 2017, we had a sept series in (checks notes) oakland that was…atrocious.

Lulz. Going to our worst reliever to face their best hitter with the tying run at 3rd. Good strategy Dusty.

He’s a great manager. I’ve read it on here and crawfish boxes often.

After the A's scored two in the bottom of the 7th with the help of the sac bunt, Dusty watches as his team doesn't even move Alvarez to 3rd with no outs in the top of the 8th.

Yeah, well maybe he knows Kyle Tucker don't bunt good.

Altuve obviously thought the ball was going to hit itself...
