there's so much to unpack from today, so i'll just start listing them. tuesday was devastating for oakland, today was twice as devastating for the yankees.  they had just started to play better.

The boy and I were at the last ALCS clincher - we were walking on air for days after Altuve’s walkoff. Today, the boy is 5,000 miles and 7 hours away, with no way to watch. So we did a video chat, w

  • Enjoy it. Old Altuve, no more Correa means this is the very end of the road for your tainted dynasty.

5 division titles in 6 years. Great times to be a Astros fan. Since all of us started following team in 2015

2016 the Astros finished 3rd. It's 4 in 5, or 4 in the last 4 full seasons.

Homefield magic number is 2.

Should only be 1? If we finish with the same record we have the tiebreaker over the White Sox

You are correct. I forgot that, though I just assumed MLB would make us play a 163 for it in Chicago.

Thank yall for the correction. Graphic in game showed 5 in 6 years. Lets get ready to win the next 14 games

My favorite part of September…sparky from the clubhouse with the postseason clinching celebration

“Guys are putting on the music [rap music playing the background]..sounds like a little Queen. And Styx. I think that’s what we got for the next hour and a half.  That sound right?”

A wet Sparky is the best Sparks. Libations all around, with Ford being the straight guy on the radio. It's classic.

Joe Espada - this is a special team. It’s so hard to win your division. It never gets old. Managing the work load is hard. This team never quits.

Best part of all this...watched every game this season with the Old Man.  We saw them win another title.  The Old Man began watching the Stros in the early 70s.  It took a long time to reach this Golden Era, but worth it.

I'll be honest, the division title has been such a foregone conclusion for so long now that I really wasn't prepared for this. I'm very moved right now and proud to be a Houston Astros fan.

I love this fucking team so much.

Dusty - hardest one for him, injuries and covid. No excuses for this team. Special group. Thanks God for keeping them strong. He’s close to a lot of former astros. Very trying year but wonderful experience. Very trying on them with all the negativity. This is just the beginning. This is a team of pros. I’m only as good as my players, put them in a situation to succeed. Locker room has stayed very positive.
