Damn, actually feel bad for Guduan. Just glad he's not an Astro any longer.

there's so much to unpack from today, so i'll just start listing them. tuesday was devastating for oakland, today was twice as devastating for the yankees.  they had just started to play better.

The boy and I were at the last ALCS clincher - we were walking on air for days after Altuve’s walkoff. Today, the boy is 5,000 miles and 7 hours away, with no way to watch. So we did a video chat, w

Eff that.  Let him wear it.

I assumed they would plunk Correa right here

Sparks made the relevant statement about this team. "Not very deep." This concerns me as well. It's why they need to go get a MLB caliber OF to replace Straw.

lance couldn't find the zone

bregman didn't play

brantley had one plate appearance (hbp)

somebody named chas played

9-1 final.

Convenient that the rat fuck Mike Fiers is on the injured list with a strained panocha long enough to cover both of the early season series

We get it. You don’t like Straw. But your need to constantly tell us is a beating.

Boouston Astros!!

F’em all, LFG!

As is anything you post.

Not sure if you were a math major, but you are correct

I was worried our average runs per game was going to go down.  Not any more.

... helps no longer being bogged down by that old lead off guy.

with all the talk about batting order, i thought this was interesting.

the answer is : aaron hicks, aledmys diaz, chris taylor

what's the question?

In Houston we elbow, in Cali they Dayton

Yordan's an interesting guy to watch hit the ball. He really doesn't even look like he's swinging all that hard or generating that much bat speed. Just really smooth, getting his hands through and getting the barrel there. But the ball gets outta there in a hurry. Dude must be swinging some kinda Babe Ruth tree trunk out there.

60 game regular season champs,  holla!!

Huh, I thought we proved it in the playoffs last year.

I like the "We're the reigning champs" schtick. Conveniently ignores the 'reigning champs' 3-1 loss to the Astros in the ALDS.

Astros haven't trailed in 27 innings so far, that might be good.

Yep. Thought he was a pretty class act here, on his way out the door, and was easy to root for.

MLB stream is shitting all over NordVPN today, and I’m unable to watch. Not sure why MLB is going out of its way to shit on fans, but I’m not paying $140 more a month for one fucking channel (only 1 provider with 1 package that has AT&T in my area for $200 a month). But sure, change the rules. That’s why fans aren’t watching...

I just switched to fuboTV. It’s the only streaming service I could find that carries ATT Sportsnet in the Houston market.

$70 a month including a $5 “regional sports fee”.

I streamed yesterday's game on Bilasport again.  At first it had an NBC sports log in, but I backed out and clicked it like 3 more times.  Then it loaded like normal.

Sportsurge.net has been a solid stream site these first few games.

Anyone know if Austin radio is broadcasting Stros games this season? 97.5 had been the station the last few years, but did not have yesterday’s game. I’ve searched online and can’t find anything and surfed the radio yesterday with no luck....
