there's so much to unpack from today, so i'll just start listing them. tuesday was devastating for oakland, today was twice as devastating for the yankees.  they had just started to play better.

The boy and I were at the last ALCS clincher - we were walking on air for days after Altuve’s walkoff. Today, the boy is 5,000 miles and 7 hours away, with no way to watch. So we did a video chat, w

Particularly with Framber on the bump. He’ll get lotsa action.

Welp.

RIP J.R. Richard.

My first favorite baseball player.  My first glove was a JR Richard model.  Dude had a tough life after baseball.

“I’ve known J.R. for a long time,” said Enos Cabell, who was an Astros teammate for several seasons. “In the Minor Leagues, I played against him and then we were teammates with the Astros for many years. He was one of the greatest pitchers we ever had and probably would have been in the Hall of Fame if his career was not cut short. On the mound, he was devastating and intimidating. Nobody wanted to face him. Guys on the other team would say that they were sick to avoid facing him. This is very sad news. He will be missed.”

RIP.

The insistence to continue with planned off days regardless of other injuries on the team is so frustrating.

i was about to post this exact thing.  at least it's the depleted shit ass twins.  framber better have his shit together.

It’s a long season, guys need rest. We are in first and the rest strategy has worked so far

and Bregman isn't playing tonight in Round Rock either.

"planned day off."

Uh, what was yesterday?

RIP.

All true.

You baby’s talkin lineups and contracts must have no idea who this guy was. JR Richard was absolutely devastating to hitters. I’m talking Koufax, Gibson in their prime and even Steve Carlton when he discovered the slider. Freaking devastating. He routinely embarrassed major league hitters.

Teams would come into the Dome for a weekend series and have to face Ryan, knuckleballer Joe Niekro, and JR and be lucky to score two runs …, for the series. Hitters would have to face two of the hardest throwing guys in the majors with a flutterballer in between and leave totally discombobulated. It was awesome.

RIP big guy

Do you want to win(can't start Meyers!!) or do you want to rest(starters can go to bench!!!) or what.....make up your mind....oh wait this is the guy who likes the Cowboys and the Texans

Oh and thanks for the ticket tonight lmao

Mound visits in the first 2 innings are not recommended

Framber goes from being unhittable in the first to putting it on a tee in the second.

Wonder if Correa's gun makes that play

After the last week or so I'm thinking we should have gone after starting pitching instead of relievers.

Maybe we can just listen to E the rest of the game...

Broke Bochte's ankle...LOLz.

You trot out this lineup you deserve to lose. But that doesn’t mean that Framber has to suck dick tonight. That seems like a personal choice.

One can of corn after another. Not even making the defense work hard. Didn't realize we were facing the modern day Cy Young tonight.

This game sucks

I was fully awake and into it at midnight for the west coast games. It’s 8:30 and I can barely keep my eyes open.

Team got back at 6am this morning. I'm gonna cut them a little slack tonight.

Did someone hack your account?

We gotta send Garcia down.  has he gotten a hit since the walk off bloop?

No. He’s worthless. He’s a net negative. The horror needs to stop.

But Framber came in the day before and he is sucking cock. Dusty can go fuck himself while we’re at it too.  Does that answer your question?

this is why castro's bat clearly has to be in the lineup.

Clearly

Well, with the shitty offense tonight, we needed Framber to give up only 0.5 runs.
