there's so much to unpack from today, so i'll just start listing them. tuesday was devastating for oakland, today was twice as devastating for the yankees.  they had just started to play better.

The boy and I were at the last ALCS clincher - we were walking on air for days after Altuve’s walkoff. Today, the boy is 5,000 miles and 7 hours away, with no way to watch. So we did a video chat, w

  • Enjoy it. Old Altuve, no more Correa means this is the very end of the road for your tainted dynasty.

At least we've scored on their top 2 setup guys in game 1.  Maybe sets a tone?

It could have been worse.  They lost their best starter and have had to use a lot of bullpen arms.  Hopefully we got all of the bad luck out of our system tonight.

That was on heck of a slide.

Not over the yellow line?

Regardless, brilliant baserunning down 4 in the 8th

Of course not

I’m sure he was in a home run trot up the first base line.

He would have been easily safe with a normal slide.

That hit right below us

Missed the HR by 6 inches

And the base by 3 feet, dammit. Oh well, one of those nights. We will win this series though.

Soooooo many fucking opportunities tonight even though we played so shitty and had no luck.

105 mph for Yordan and 107 mph for Yuli.  Matzek ain't got shit on the pina gang.

Get all of our shit out of us tonight is ok.

Matt was trying, thought I'd have to grab him going over
God damn everything going Atlanta's way.

Won’t after tonight

Just not our night. Too long of a layoff, hopefully this lights a fire under some asses and makes other guys pull their heads out of those not on fire.

Optimistically speaking, weve shown we can hit their bullpen, its our SP that will make or break us.

Braves have played well. But has there ever been a big game in which virtually every 50-50 play has so favored a single team? If it weren't so depressing, it would be comical.

School night bruh

Its frustrating but sometimes our guys need to be smacked around to wake up.

Its the WS and one would think they would come out in kill mode but the past 2 series have shown they've got a lot of fight

Lead off walk actually better than a lead off HR when down by a few.

Uh, no.  A leadoff homer has never turned into a double play.

3 Ks and a popout to the pitcher so far for Altuve.  Maybe he's due?

And a lead off HR doesn’t keep pressure on the pitcher.

How do you think rallies happen?  Four straight solo shots?

Tonight it probably would have.
