there's so much to unpack from today, so i'll just start listing them. tuesday was devastating for oakland, today was twice as devastating for the yankees.  they had just started to play better.

The boy and I were at the last ALCS clincher - we were walking on air for days after Altuve’s walkoff. Today, the boy is 5,000 miles and 7 hours away, with no way to watch. So we did a video chat, w

You know we had runner on 3rd with 1 out last inning too, right?

You know we just won, right?

Playing fuck-fuck and getting cute with all of the walks bit em in the ass.

Good guys win.

Julia, you can take off the god damn mask.

With Framber scheduled to throw a bullpen session today at Minute Maid, what is the timeline for a rehab outing? The Skeeters are at Round Rock through Tuesday, I would be pumped if he was on the mound for one of those games.

If the  bullpen outing goes well, Framber will head out on a minor league rehab assignment next week.  Valdez should need at least two or three rehab starts to build up to a starter's workload, so his return to the Astros could still be about a month away.

Planning to be at Dell Sunday.

I too would be pumped if “one of those games” = Sunday

Jose Siri had a monster game last night. Heckled by a dipshit doing a "Hey Siri" routine and then immediately responded with this.....

Siri' stat line is impressive, albeit only 32 AB's.. Why so few?

They've only played 7 games so far and he sat for one game. I expected to see Ronnie Dawson but he wasn't in the lineup last night.

It's unfortunate that McCormick is on the 40 man but not either Siri or Meyers.  It doesn't look like McCormick will be a viable alternative to Straw should he continue to to hover around 40% below league average as a hitter.  It's looking more and more likely that the Astros will need to trade for a CF at the deadline.

It's really striking imo that the organization only has five outfielders on the 40 man, all of them are on the 25 man, and one of them will basically never play a defensive position. I'm not sure how Jairo Solis profiles as a prospect but he is out for a long time with elbow surgery. It makes sense to make room for a Siri or Dawson by removing Solis.

I wonder what it would take to get the Blue Jay's CF.

You’re in luck!

What's with SEC cap day?

If you guys thought you liked Straw batting leadoff, you're going to love Robel Garcia batting leadoff

Well, look at this crooked number brewing.  Thanks for the walks, Jerky.

y'all keep talking shit about Straw

As I’ve said before, I love watching Greinke pitch. He always does something interesting.
