If Zubia would just look for a curve on the first pitch...

Cyr's line against WVU last week:

             5.2 8 6 6 3 1 24 28 80

Ah man. Didn't know this was on. Looks like we're hanging on by the skin of our dicks?

Our offense appears to have gone limp again. These last 3 games have not been good at all.

Another DP on a long fly ball. how often do you see that?

Limp since they shot that 11 run wad in OU game 2.

Zubia RBI triple scores Daly.

3-1 Texas

Big insurance run there.

Nice rip Cam.

They pitched that guy an inning too long. I'll take it.

Nice to finally get through to this guy. Wish it could have happened a couple innings ago.

I just talked about the offense going limp the last 3 games and they come out and score 2 in their next at bat. Y’all are welcome.

Melendez doesn't come close to coming close to touching the ball against KU's shitty reliever with a .323 BA against. That's the bad news. Good news is he didn't hit into a DP.

4-1 Texas after 8.  I imagine Madden is done.

Must be wanting to save Witt because he pitched on Tuesday. Now they can go straight to Nixon.

I like the fake sac bunt and let him steal 2b, then bunt him over to 3b.

Kennedy knocks a meatball into RF for an RBI. 5-1

followed by Daly's 4th hit.

I’ve got to stop watching zubia at bats. Even the ones that end up good are usually frustrating.

runner on third one out and he just watches 4 pitches and sits back down.

Daly is going to juice that BA this weekend.

Trying to decide if his swing reminds me of anyone.  Closest I’ve come is Paul Molitor.

We strike out looking so fucking much.

Nixon made that guy look bad. One down, one on.

Someone in Kansas had to go online, cut an image from a Texas website, paste it into Word, turn the image upside down, type "Horns Down" and print, then tape it to the dugout.  10 mins of their life consumed 100% about us.

Nixon leaving the ball up.  Everyone has put a good swing on the ball except one dude. 5-2 with tying run at the plate.

9th got a little more exciting than it needed to, but job done.

Maybe we can get the bats going before the 8th tomorrow?

Nice to see the bats come alive some.

Good first step in the series, but a lot of work left to do.

Whoever here said they need to sweep upthread, yup.

Seems like the team woke up after that little exchange of words between Faltine and their pitcher.
