Thanks. I have been on the boards since 1997 when I was a student at Texas. We've spent decades as fans and board patrons feeling powerless to create any real change. The Internet, social media,

I work closely with a certain previously committed 5 star QB's father (hint: its Quinn Ewers, for those who haven't been following recruiting closely like I have) and chatted with him a bit this after

On the bright side, now there's no reason to keep Andre Coleman around any longer.

Nice. If Sark fucks up next year we can throw the kitchen sink at Rhule.

Yay. Only thing giving me hope for the future.

Well shit now you have me worried about Rhule to OU. That would be very bad.

Shit….

Ahhh, I don’t understand it but o well…Can’t cry over spilled milk we gotta find a baller

Well, once we get to 8-4, we’ll get nice things too.

It seems exceedingly likely Stewart didn't commit to A&M for their offense, so pointing out the fact that he'll get a max of five targets a year seems fruitless

But I know it took a Fucking Bag to get that commitment,

A&M is playing the game

You would rather be Stewart’s second school than his first

When Rhule was a college coach everybody talked about him bouncing to the NFL as soon as he could because he didn't like coaching college. Now that he is in the NFL now everyone thinks he will go back to coaching college lmao.

Hopefully the portal smiles down upon us.

Evans was always looking for reasons to not come to Texas, but he couldn’t have picked a worse offense for his choice.

Savion seems to be the type of player that will be used in the Jeff banks ST experience. He’s already a two way player so I doubt he actually ends up playing WR. He doesn’t even play WR now. He’s an ATH that could play DB.

No he wasn’t, he was looking to get a bag.

It's the most meaningless phrase in recruiting.

Is this where you tell us "it's OK, he was never coming here?"

When you have a team that isn’t loaded with talent, you just put your best athlete at QB. He was a WR before this year.

Our guys have been hinting at momentum behind the scenes for a while, it would be nice if some of it was made public right about now. I mean at this point do we really believe we are in it for Perkins, dewberry, and Banks?

All I’m saying is, I doubt he plays WR for us. But then again, he could be the type that would kill us from the slot if we played against him lol

— I spoke to a source near five-star wide receiver Evan Stewart today. The Frisco Liberty pass-catcher is taking a step back to evaluate his options. Texas, Texas A&M and Alabama are the main schools involved, but the source told me Evan is conflicted as of now. Sources in Austin still feel confident they can land the dynamic playmaker, but it wouldn't surprise me to see his decision go into January and maybe all the way to February. Stewart is taking courses to graduate early and would potentially like to enroll in January if possible. It also leaves him the option to not sign and just enroll at the school of his choice when the spring semester comes around.

Roach said this today lmao

Starting to wonder?  The fuck?  These $9.95 ers don’t know JACK SHIT.

He was overrated anyways. Brennan Thompson is better.

Let’s not do this.

Adjust your sarcasm detector.

I just realized I told somebody to adjust their sarcasm while (maybe?) missing a different posters sarcasm at the same time.

This is getting old. Hopefully this wakes people the fuck up and we start playing the game. But we’ve had plenty of time and haven’t done shit up until this point so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Those other guys (Perkins, Dewberry, etc.) are as good as gone.

Oh wow, I am so surprised! I can't believe no-one saw this coming.

I disagree. Committing to ATM as a WR is basically just screaming to the world that you have shit for brains. Imagine sacrificing your college career and several draft rounds for a load of cash up front.

Homeboy’s probably too fucking stupid to start in Sark’s offense.

Yeah it’s not going to wake anyone up. Unfortunately it seems like we will stay irrelevant for another 3-4 years.

Hey Bruh Man

This may be the least bad time to mention that Denver Harris is definitely going to be the next "A&M mysteriously came out of nowhere" commit

Aggy can become our Blinn on the Brazos.

I have a feeling the fans were pushing harder for Stewart than the coaches. There are so many red flags with this dude. The main one revealing itself in the end. I mean, of all the places he could go… I’m guessing many top schools weren’t pursuing that hard.

He was literally bought by aggie for 300k+

Just now, BurntOrange&White said:

It is still a short sighted decision on his part. He probably could have made 300k+ at UT or Bama easy on top of what was paid upfront and been in an offense that would feature him and probably put him in a better position to go to the NFL. So I agree even with the money this was a dumbass decision for his career.

Just now, BurntOrange&White said:

If he was worth it, someone else would have paid. We’ve been going on and on about getting guys in here who have heart and love to play football. This kid has made it obvious he loves playing other games more than football.

lmao not here.... aggies are giving up front money and giving huge NIL deals. we're so fucking behind.

Idk about the NIL deals part. Outside of Texags bullshit do they have anything

We aren't that far behind especially in regards to Aggy, Bijan has probably made close to a million, Worthy is likely in the 300k-500k range, and we have a couple of NIL announcement coming down the pipeline. A lot of NIL shit just isn't public, and the players don't care for it to be, likely because they don't want to become marks.

Why get compliance involved? Bags don’t matter anymore, right?

Short sighted decision. Hope this pushes Demas into the portal. Would not hate seeing that gazelle in this offense.

We're Texas.

Surprised he picked aggy over Bama.  But he wasn’t coming here and hasn’t for a while.  His dad basically said as much when he committed to us.
