But losing your child or sibling, I cant think of what is worse. So sorry Sam. I am so sorry. Gonna hug my son extra tight tonight. I lost my dad at 16. We were close, and it was very, very hard. But losing my brother to an unexpected illness when he was 34 -- he was 16 months older than me, someone I shared a room with most of my childhood, and who I talked to every day -- was far worse. I still cannot think about it without crying and it has been 11 years. My heart hurts for the Ehlingers. Edited May 6, 20214 yr by Johnny Sack
May 6, 20214 yr Popular Post This is something, that while horribly tragic, should make each and every one of us ponder our own life and families. So many of us by Gods grace have been spared this kind of pain. I'll freely admit if something like this happened to me, I couldn't take it. My family better watch out when I get home tomorrow, the hugs and kisses are going to be off the wall, and yes, tears of gratitude will be pouring. I know I've taken my loved ones for granted, and that stops now. Damn, I'm crying like a little bitch. Edited May 7, 20214 yr by SHOOTER12
May 6, 20214 yr I understand he gave up the chance to pretty much play football at smaller schools for Texas, where he knew he'd probably not play as a preferred walk on, just to be with his brother and to be a Longhorn. Unimaginable tragedy.
May 6, 20214 yr Popular Post Prayers for entire Ehlinger family from a Sooner. Watched both Sam and Jake’s entire Westlake careers and I’m just devastated to hear the news.

My kids are in for a lot of dad time whether they like it or not.
May 6, 20214 yr Fuck this sucks. Didn’t believe it when I saw it on Twitter. Thoughts are with Sam and his Mom and family. Can’t even imagine.
May 6, 20214 yr Well, that's just absolutely f'n awful. I can only wish his family peace that will not come to their souls anytime soon, and knowing that, I can only feel sorrow.
