Which makes this the [checks notes] sixth straight postseason that anyone with eyes has stated the obvious: they need to address that god awful defense if they have any hope of being a real contender. Which means trading CJ and sizing up that backcourt.

Royally sucks that Murray is out. They'd have a real chance to win this whole thing with him.

health permitting, this team will be around for years. drafting/rehabbing MPJ and acquiring Gordon were huge moves. even Millsap and Rivers have been contributing. if they get guys like Murray and Barton back and they stay healthy, this could be a team that contends in the West for years to come.

AD shouldn't be out there. He can barely move.

Doesn't want to get the Jay Cutler treatment from the media

Shall we discuss the strategy of starting Gasol over Drummond? That is some serious rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic right there. Why? What difference does it make? Fucking Gasol couldn't even post up Devin Booker. The entry pass was shit but cmon. He's so done.

LeBron needs to score. Having Schroeder shoot 3s all game is a recipe for disaster.

Portland cannot keep trying to guard Jokic 1 v 1 with Covington. He's getting killed.
If you try to double him, he always finds the open man. No good solution there.

Why the fuck would you even let him play? It took 3 possessions of him guarding Booker and CP to be done. Did he just refuse to be scratched from the lineup?

LeBron's body may finally be betraying him. He's running on fumes out there. There are going to be so many questions this off-season.

Looks like we’ll have to sign Booker when he’s a free agent.

This Lakers lineup is like some of those lineups the Celtics were running out there.

God daaaaaamn

Lillard's record in danger already?

Two dudes have made 6 threes in the first quarter of their games today. I imagine that that's a first.

At least a handful of Lakers fans are going to leave at the quarter break, right?

Even without Davis, this team shouldn't be this bad. But whatever, it's the NBA. This game could be tied at halftime.

Depends. Is LeBron in the locker room yet?

They're averaging 20 points a quarter in 7 quarters without AD. I'm going to guess that it won't be tied.

The supporting cast has been god awful in this series.

I was thinking what the alt line for Lakers -21.5 2Q must be. Like +5000 at least probably.

This isn't even that entertaining. This is just another horrible ass-beating.

If nothing else, the fashionably late crowd listening on the radio just turned around their Range Rovers.

How shit changes within a week. After  the Lakers went up 2-1 and CP3 was battling his injury, it looked a little bleak for them. And now, this shit looks like what Dallas did to them in 2011 to knock them out. Damn near a 30pt game in the 2nd.

Last year definitely helped the Lakers with that long vacation in the middle of the season. Allowed an aging Lebron and glass body AD get some needed rest. Injuries caught up to them. Lebron has now missed a lot of time 2 of the last 3 years. AD is constantly banged up. They have some questions this offseason on where to go from here.

Vogel's like "fuck am I gonna get fired for this bullshit?"

If I'm Frank Vogel, I'm a few minutes from pulling a Pop and emptying the benches.

Lebron will have his “next chapter” article out by the 3rd quarter.

Can we just greenlight Booker to go for 70?

3 years in LA:

- Missed playoffs due to LeBron injury.

- Won title in completely abnormal year with a 5 month break before the playoffs to recover.

- First 1st round exit of LeBron's career after AD injury and rust from both AD and LeBron missing months of the season.

What's the future? Rest them just enough to get the 6 seed, then pray?
