CP3 has been god awful in his two games back from Covid protocol.

Teams are a combined 9 for 47 from 3.  Guh.

Clips are 5 for 31 of that

Do the Clippers even try when they design their jerseys?

Since they redesigned their logo I haven't seen a single jersey of theirs that I like.

Mark Jackson telling us about the sub montey Williams makes to keep Booker from fouling out as Booker fouls out

CP3 with a couple chances to ice it...and couldn't.

Fits right in with the rest of the shooting in this 4Q.

I dont know why but I love lower scoring games much more than higher scoring ones. It makes every basket feel so much bigger.

It’s a nice change of pace.

LAC should have had the ball down by one with the ability to hold for the final shot. instead they're down three and now they get fouled and sent to the line. that's as direct a screw job as you can get. that's so terrible from the officials.

No idea why don't you just let Cousins make there. Seems dumb.

Paul George is better at the much-more-difficult intentionally missed FT than he is at hitting actual regular FTs.

Ah fuck man whatever. They should have let him try and make it. Can't blame DMC there.

Boogie is 30 years old and has probably been playing organized ball for 22 years or so.  Know the fucking rules man.  Sad to see that level of ignorance from a pro.

Seems like Boogie was looking down and tries to surprise everyone with a quick shot. Guys airball free throws plenty so would be hard for him not to know the rule.

Bucks vs Suns could be fun.

Actually looking at it, you can call cp3 on a lane violation for being Inside the arc…but you could do that every free throw too

Most playoff games shooting 25% or less:

Bob Cousy - 13

Tommy Heinsohn - 12

PG13 - 11

Russ - 7

Dennis Johnson - 7

Dolph Schayes - 7

Looks like PG is going to have to wait until next year to take the top spot.

This is seriously one of the most embarrassing stats I've seen from a current player.  I know there are some PG truthers in the thread, but even they have to admit he just sucks when the heat is the most intense.  Still a good player in the regular season, and I respect his fight when Kawhi went out, but I wonder if declining play for the last 2 years along with turning 32 for next year's playoffs, if he's done at possibly being a Robin?  Maybe if you have a real good 3rd option?  Again, he still can play but man, his legacy will be defined by his failures thus far....

At least he’s there.

Yeah, he's in the WCF without Kawhi. Maybe they make the Finals with a healthy squad.

Biggest thing is he's just not a great outside shooter. PG is at his best when he's attacking the rim getting buckets or drawing fouls and playing defense.

Seems it's only a matter of time before Kawhi's body breaks down and he's no longer superstar Kawhi. The type of injuries he's had is no bueno.

Why do I watch any NBA game until the middle of the 4th?

Trae Young is bad for basketball.

He deserves the shine for his performance given the setting, but his foul seeking behavior is horrible, horrible, horrible.

Also, these announcers suck. They complain when there’s reviews of out of bounds balls in the last two minutes where the ball clearly comes off a PG hands from a defensive poke and argue that’s not the right call in the spirit of the game. But then have no problem with Young jumping into people to generate ridiculous fouls.

I hate this type of basketball. It is not fun to watch.

Yes. Trae Young is the first player to jump into contact and draw ticky tack calls. Because of course he started his career before Manu Ginobili, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Steph Curry...

for the entirety of his career i have been totally nonplussed by Khris Middleton. for a guy who's an all star, a guy who's supposed to be a legit no.2 on a title winning team, i've always seen him as a poor man's Carmelo without the rebounding or energy. but damn if this man hasn't been playing like an assassin in some of the biggest moments of these playoffs. i really had no idea that he had this in him. hats off to him.

Yeah, this rumor comes from Skip Bayless, but still lol.

What a crybaby.

Also - of course Trae tweaks his ankle. Milwaukee might not have anyone to play by the time the Finals comes around.

middleton is bombing fools

tucker is such a great player
