So glad that he won, was great to be out on the course and watch him continue to rip his drives all weekend.    i followed spieth all day Thursday and it doesn’t seem like he has it back mental

Balls checking up on greens early this morning.  Players who adjust the quickest could really shoot a good score in today's early session.

Corey Conners has played seven holes and is yet to make a par. Bogey, birdie, bogey, bogey, bogey, bogey, birdie ...

Spieth with 3 straight bogeys... can't put worth shit on these greens and looks like alignment problems so far

Lefty birdies #2, only 1 back...   LET'S GO !!!

He made a mess of the first 9, then  2 birdies on the back.  Pretty awesome to see him contending.

Spieth just below the cut line.  he may make the cut but he's done contending in this one.

Spieth putting has been horrible in this tournament

So good... take one for the team!

Tiger fans in ‘00s would foot wedge that back toward the fairway! [emoji1787]

Tiger played with the bumpers they use for little kids at the bowling alley.

Cut line is gonna be a higher number -- maybe +5

Phil the Dill in at -5.  Grace just dunked his tee shot on 17.  he won't stay at -6.

with the wind picking up this afternoon, Phil could have the 36 hole lead.

Announcer just said Spieth is losing 4 strokes to the field because of his putting in this tournament so far... WOW

The PGA app sucks.  It’s 20 minutes behind real time.

Masters is the gold standard for giving real time action. How the pga can't figure it out or just hire whomever does theirs is mind bottling

Phil getting a 6th at 50+ would be pretty damn big.   when looking at the list 7 majors is a huge step up in the golf pantheon.

Spieth deserves to miss the cut putting like that.

The regular PGA Tour app is a little better. And it has shot tracker

Wow short par putt for Spieth on final hole not even close.  He just terrible with lining up putts right now

I think there is a good chance the cut is gonna move to +4, but Spieth ain't completing the grand slam this year

That’s the one I’m using.

It's horrible. They were saying jordan had an eagle putt on 7 which didn't sound right so I went to the app for the shot tracker and it still didn't have him putting out on 6 yet.

The PGA Championship app issued an update and seems a lot better and shot tracker was added

I was fortunate to catch one of the weekday rounds at the TOUR championship the year Spieth won. It was wet and a small crowd because of the rain and he hit an errant tee shot directly at me.
he gets up to his ball, sees it’s sitting up very nicely in the rough, says “thanks for the help with lie, guys.”

goes on to make birdie

Well, he’d become the oldest major champion in golf history — that’s kind of big! [emoji1787]

not sure if he was playing golf or tic-tac-toe .... but this is how you put a 9 on the card

That would explain the 3 group logjam on the 17th.

Tringale was tied for 2nd at-3 standing on the 14 tee. In his last 5 holes he goes +13.

yep.  Cameron Tringale certainly didn't help with the slow play.  he had a triple, a quintuple, a quadruple, and a bogey in those last 5 holes.

I would love to watch a replay of that hole.

I was certain if he ever got another it would be at Augusta.  He just feels that course so well.  Doing it here would be amazing.

and he only hit 2 into the water  - that is a 48 on his first 9 today.
do you think he breaks 90? (fwiw - 86 is the high score for the day, in the clubhouse)

Probably more due to the 20 Club professionals in the field who are way in over their heads.
