Ha. Yeah, plenty of child abuse throughout too. 

Not gonna lie, I would too if my kid looked like Martin Short.

I remember seeing bits of Real Life on PBS in early 80's and thinking it was a real documentary.  Grodin was perfect in the movie as he was in many others.

I was going to post the same thing along with Midnight Run. I always liked Grodin as a kid too. I know a lot of people from our generation liked Harrison Ford as a kid but I am just realizing I wasn't the only one that was a fan of Grodin as a kid in the 80's.

 

 

He was Norm MacDonald before Norm MacDonald. Maybe a little less expressive. But possesed the same bone-dry, deadpan, effortless humor.
