This topic came up with my buddy and his son Saturday when we were getting our tests to come back.  I'm at 4 now.

I've had 6 mainly because I work for a healthcare organization and they've requested that we get monthly tests since last summer. Obviously I did not fully live up to that request.

somewhere around 10ish.  needed them for travel

0.  Wife and one of my daughters had to get one for hospital stay.  But that’s it around our house.

son had a class mate that was positive at school, so whole fam got the rapid test. no other testing outside that

Got one on Halloween prior to my colonoscopy the following week.

Three. Two PCR tests due to COVID/flu like illness in March/April 2020 and 2021, respectively. One rapid test as a courtesy, as the couple whose wedding we were going to requested people get tested before attending. 0 for 3.

Two. I was contact-traced twice.  Negative both times.

20+.  No joke.  I live overseas, travel, nature of work.  I imagine a number of college/pro athletes have had even more.

About Treefiddy.  This board is slipping.

My son is the only one to be tested in our house and that was due to contact tracing (negative).

5, work for a small subcontractor but damn out of 100 employees we've had a metric fuck ton of people catch that crap.  There were 3 that damned near didn't make it, as a matter of fact doctors told us they probably wouldn't make it.

5 plus one antibody test. All neg.

I only personally know 3 people total who were Covid-19 positive. Unfortunately I was around one of them the day before they got a positive test.   I got a test the next day but was all good. Two weeks later I got shot #1.

Ive taken zero but had 3 antibody tests from donating blood. Going to Cabo in a couple weeks so will have to take my first if they dont lift the return test requirement by then.

7 or 8. You could walk in and get a test at any time at my work. Never tested positive though.

You guys realize they test for stds as well?

You are on record

One when I went to visit my parents for the first time relatively early in the pandemic and a second one when we came back from Mexico a couple of weeks ago (handled really nicely at the hotel)

I figured that was part of the deal when I dropped my pants...

One to be allowed into the Bahamas, another one on day 4 of my Bahamas trip, and one to be allowed onto a military base for a work trip. 3 in total. Going to Mexico next week, so I'll have to get one to come back into the US, I guess.

One. I had to get one to see my dad after his surgery at the rehab place. They also had me wear a hazmat suit to go in there, which was good.

Just one. My family has been living in complete isolation since March 3 of last year so we haven’t needed many. Wife had 3 over the last year that her dr. ordered when she went in for other stuff. Both girls had one when they started going back to school.

I'm pretty surprised at how many zeros there are.

Most of us have been doing what we were supposed to be doing and avoiding people.

One. What is the recommendation for doing an antibody test to see if you need a booster? I got the J&J so I figure I should check after 5 or 6 months. With all the variants around, it might not be a bad idea to get a booster before the year is up.

I haven't really heard what the recs were about this.

None.  Everyone in my family has had one except me.  All due to minor symptoms like a cough and we tested just so there wasn't a big issue with them going to school.

I never had any reason to due to symptoms or exposure.  Funny thing is, right now is the first time I've had a bad cough in over a year, but I've been vaxxed for a couple of months.

some of us are "essential" and have been doing what were suppose to be doing..........

3 after close contact notifications

2 after travelling

1 to visit my mom in the assisted living home

3 antibody tests as part of blood donations

which is why "most" of us don't have tests, because we aren't essential.

Zero for me and zero for my family.

home schooled kids, work from home for us. Mom is work from home. Grandparents retired.

all of us pretty conservative with our interactions.

never any symptomatic reason, never any exposure incidents, never any mandated testing for travel or a point of entry.

I think around 10-ish maybe more don't really remember. But I had access to free mail-in testing from work and took advantage of them till I got my shot.
