There's really no structure to the German attack right now. England is playing much better.

So much better. They've seemed to calm down

The Chelsea fan in me is pretty happy to see Timo miss for an opponent.

I mean, good save, but Timo had to do better there.  He just...  doesn't.

In real time I didn't think he was going to make it. He's missed way easier chances than that.

God damn England is frustrating to watch

You don't think having a lone striker 50 yards up the pitch from the rest of the team that just turns it over in the midfield is exciting?

That's 5 passes from England's side of the field to Neuer

Route 1 offense sucks ass.

Germany needs more speed and creativity. I'd put in Gnabry in and take a chance on Sane.

Jesus Christ, Kane. DO SOMETHING

How are you enjoying your first England match?

Oh I'm always this pissy with England. I always expect a letdown.

Did the announcer just say "his first touch was a good one"?

They are so in the tank for Engerland and Kane specifically

I mean if it were just Kane and Neuer with no other players in the box it would have been good

Kane is set up to fail in this system.  Saka is rooted to the right sideline and the two DMs are playing so deep that Kane and Sterling are basically playing 2 on 4 or 5 in almost every situation.  Accordingly, his only chances come on breakdowns like the one at the end of the half.

Wasn't Kane a mile offside? I don't think it would've survived VAR if he hadn't cocked it up as bad as he did.

I thought it came to him off a touch from a defender

"Harry Kane not really seeing much of the ball."

English understatement is fun.

Prince William really can't afford a hair transplant? He's like 38 and rich as fuck. C'mon!

Married and gonna be the king, he’s given up.

The irony to all of these HT comments is that this game could be as open as yesterday if Southgate played creative players rather than racking up yellows with his DMs.

England plays long ball because of Southgate and his system.  None of these guys play long ball for their clubs.  Southgate is a dinosaur and a disgrace to the sport.  He should be publicly flogged after the game.

This nails it. The scheme Southgate is running isn’t set up for Kane or Sterling to score. Bitch about Kane doing nothing, that is what Gerth (English Gerg) wants. Wait up top for balls that they don’t have the team to make happen.

It would have been close. It would depend when and off whom that ball came.

I wonder if they interviewed the judge who ruled in the Women’s National Team lawsuit for that special they keep pushing.

I went back and rewatched it and it's hard to tell. I then had to Google and wasn't aware that if it comes off a deliberate play by a defender and goes to an attacker, the attacker is not considered offside. Learn something new every day! Thanks!

Sancho has 83 G/A in 82 Bundesliga games and has played approximately 5 minutes in this tournament and he knows almost all of the German players well.

Yeah, but reasons.

Ian Darke has been awful this tournament by the way.
