The 2 worst players also just happen to not look like athletes either. Look at the other teams. They don't have 2 starters who look like them. They all look like studs.

Actually, there are some pretty chonky DS that are probably better than ours.  And setters.

Passing and serving.

Passing was terrible all night and we only served tough in 1 set.

Asjia was really the only good server tonight.

Yeah, I don't know what happens but in these big matches we just fall apart at the service line.

We did the same thing against Kentucky last year where we would just lob the ball over the net and still had service errors. You can't beat these quality of teams if you're that bad from the service line.

I think it's a mental thing more than anything because this was a great serving team all season.

Parra had a pretty disappointing tournament, too, both defensively and serving.

The defense was bad on all levels in the tournament except for Petersen last night.

When your "defensive specialists" in Parra, Petersen, and Iosia are that bad this is the result. I'm starting to think a big part of the issue is playing in the Big 12. They need to be challenged more and they simply don't get that in the Big 12.

We beat ourselves.  I feel much differently about the result last year compared to this year.  I thought we were better but was clearly wrong.

I think we subbed every setter on our roster today, just couldn't find consistency with anyone

Sage was pretty good, considering the passing.  First time I've really noticed her being better than Jhenna, "connections" notwithstanding.

Elliott has to make a coaching change to figure out the defense/passing.

It’ll always be a problem, the problem with Elliott.

The block is also substantially better with Sage.

I think Gabriel is returning but she shouldn't be the starter.
