You HAVE to finish that!!! 24 minutes ago, DeepEastTexas said: Holy shit Dele! That looked on frame afterall and Allison made a heck of a save.

December 19, 20214 yr Author Oh I see Dele doesn't get enough on the pass. Not sure that doesn't come back on VAR offsides, but make them check it.
December 19, 20214 yr Author The game has slowed and Liverpool is dictating right now. If Spurs aren't careful, they will let Liverpool nab one right now.
December 19, 20214 yr Author That rule was changed after a lot of really dumb goals being called off.
December 19, 20214 yr Author Before the Liverpool goal, I was just about to note that the ref sucks both way, Spurs have gotten a few bigger calls, IMHO, but in "letting them play" he has let of lot of physical play go that should be fouls. One problem is that a few Spurs out there are looking for calls, and not getting them.

December 19, 20214 yr Author Meh, not a win,but better than a loss. But given the chances missed, I think 3 points were there to be had.

December 19, 20214 yr Despite them both scoring I thought that Kane and particularly Son were poor. Winks was man of the match for me. Sessegnon also did well, Salah hasn’t been kept that quiet for some time
December 19, 20214 yr I am thankful for the energy and not letting up. We haven't been able to keep that consistent since ECL.
December 19, 20214 yr Sanchez did well. I’d have to check pools goals again. But he impressed me. Winks def was there doing good shyt

But given that both goals were on such pinball plays, can you really fault people directly on either goal? If anything I agree with the sentiment that we probably should have had another goal or two.
December 19, 20214 yr Not sure what Conte told Dele and Winks but my guess it was something like "you better start playing or Ill transfer your ass to Siberia"

December 20, 20214 yr Author Spurs are officially out of the UECL. They granted the forfeit win to Rennes, thus Spurs are out. Whatever, given COVID, that European competition is not one Spurs want to worry about.
December 20, 20214 yr Author Stupid double post about a 3rd rate competition. Edited December 20, 20214 yr by Captain Ron
December 20, 20214 yr I'm not unhappy with being knocked out of ECL. More excited about what Conte's done and continues to do.

NES was only there because the talks broke down the first time. Conte should have been here the whole year. This falls squarely on the man with the money.
