Having a hard time finding anyone in the box. Although we're dominating the midfield. One good chance played into Saul but just missed the header. Ziyech with a nice shot on goal just now.

Playing a 4-3-3 interestingly enough. Tuchel adjusting to personnel.

Fantastic double save by Kepa then Reece towards the end of the half.

Decent first 45. We were the better side but they were dangerous a few times.

Phenomenal cross in by James - Werner heads it home.

1-0 good guys.

Werner gets the header and then misses a great chance as he was through on the keeper.

The Timo Werner Experience really is something.

Well... he didn't miss the layup header. All I'm going to ask of him in this one.

This would be such a perfect Pulisic game. The bad breaks he's had are maddening.

Not sure what Chilwell is doing there. Although Chalobah did a poor job as well.

1-1

Really, can't blame Chalobah. Don't think he was expecting that ball in nor should he have necessarily.

Granted we should be up 2-1, but c'mon guys.

This ESPN setup is so bush league. Went out for like 10 mins and you can hear a guy calling radio in the background the entire game.

Ref has been EFL Cup quality along with everything else.

Yay?

I got on with my day once they missed that first pen lol. Just checked the result.

Nice to see some bench and reserve guys get some time. About all these are useful for.

We drew So'ton for the next EFL game (at home). Not out of the woods yet.

So stoked to miss this City tie. Anyone that tunes in is a better fan than me.

Not much to say about the first half. We are defending well but everyone seems like they have a poor touch today so we're not getting anything going when we have the ball. We're probably going to play more over the top in the second half instead of trying to build from the back again city's press.

The negative is obviously that we lost. The positive is that on one of those days when the entire team is playing uncharacteristically poor on the ball we still only lost 1-nil to city on a deflected shot. We started playing better towards the end so hopefully this was a wake up call and we see more inspiring play going forward.

Looks like sleeping was the right call.

Yuck.

On to the next one.

Need to put something on frame. Being a little too cute inside the box.

Also just straight up missing balls in - sloppy sloppy sloppy.

Might need to just get to half here.

Jesus fucking Christ. We're gonna let City beat us twice.

When was the last time Tuchel subbed 3 at once.

I don't know but we need to get healthy. Seems like Tuchel is looking ahead and sort of okay with a loss here.

Give me a fucking break Kai. Jesus. Just that type of night I guess.

missed the game since a client was determined to have a long call to tell me their life story.

Just saw the score. Bad performance or unlucky?

Took 80 mins for Luk to take his first shot despite dominating possession.

We got smacked. Couldn't break down their back 4 and when we did get chances couldn't put anything on frame. 800 passes to 1 shot on target.

Probably could have gotten a point out of it but we played a lot of really poor soccer. Absences of Kante, Mount, Pulisic seemed especially glaring which isn't a good thing.

But - Juve is good and it isn't an easy environment to play in. Can't imagine we get sent home from groups.

Wow, Timo Werner's on the score sheet.  Dogs and cats, living together.

And now he's not. What absolute fuckery.
