I guess when you're down 0-2 to Liverpool you've got to be happy to get a point.

You do - but this feels like a game we should have won.

City will falter at some point

We need them to drop more points than they have all season so far and that would be assuming we win 17 straight matches. Short of an absolutely historic collapse by them it isn't happening.

I think getting well positioned and poised to make another CL run should be our focus.

Great goal by Havertz. Alonso intercepted a lazy pass out of their back third and played it ahead. May be an OG - I think it was headed to the back post though.

Wow. Kai almost had a 2nd. Spurs just handing us the ball in their box.

That might be the Spursiest goal I've ever seen.

The first one was Spursy enough.

Azpi out with an injury and Puli is playing RCB.  Neato.

I think we should see what he has in goal.

I'm probably going to be PTFO for the FA tie today.

We should handle business here - right?

Sarr has been really impressive in the minutes he's been given.  Kepa had a great game making two big heads up plays on what could have been two Spurs goals.

Annnnnnnnnd, there it is.

And it had to be KDB.  Because of course it did.

I woke up, flipped it on, saw KDB score and went back to sleep.

Congrats on another title, assholes. If Pep could leave that would be nice.

We're now only 6 up on WH who has a game in hand and 8 up on Arsenal who has two in hand.

Not sure why the switch to the 4-4-2/4-2-3-1, but we look like crap in it.

Not watching - out working - but I think at this point Tuchel is beyond frustrated and just trying to find something that works.

Also - the 5 at "the back" is sort of reliant on having quality at WB. Which... we don't have anymore.

Agree with your second point, but we still looked better in the 3-4-3 even with our makeshift wingbacks.  Guys look lost out there.

I'm about ready to stop the Lukaku attempt and go back to Timo/Havertz.  We get so many more opportunities with the two of them in there.

My quiet thoughts as well. Havertz is a better player. Also have no clue why CHO just played 90' over Pulisic and Werner. Managing minutes I guess?

Pretty good first half.  Tottenham seem like they'd be satisfied with a point today.  And we put about a dozen pretty good balls into the box -- feels like if someone can get on the end of one of them, that'll be enough.

And Thiago gets on the end of a wicked set piece delivery by Mount, who's had a hell of a match.

Park the bus and let's keep that clean sheet.

So, no change in this transfer window...  Any opinions on what that means for almost our entire defense, with contract expirations this year?
We're probably confident in re-signing Azpi and Christensen, and we think we'll get Kounde if Rudiger goes elsewhere.

Anyone watch today? I've been bad lately about watching. I'm not sure why we conceded 8 minutes in against Plymouth Argyle but got the W eventually on the backs of the dirty Spaniards.

Was able to catch after halftime.  Frustratingly familiar with what felt like hundreds of great goal-scoring opportunities, and a huge lack of finishing.  Kepa's save on the penalty was fantastic....

I read just a bit, but enough.

He is the worst. Marina knows everything.
