Juve's worst loss since '04 and worst CL loss ever.

It was pretty complete. Really tested just once on a McKennie shot from outside the box. We played 5 or 6 up on a high line at the top and it ended up countering their back 4 pretty well. Think Tuchel saw some stuff from the first match that he then adjusted. Dude might be the best manager at it right now.

Goddamn right he is

Chillwell torn ACL. Furk.

That's rough. He was really shaping into form, too.

Ugh. Will be missed but this is where the depth comes in.

Welp, Chelsea out-possessed Man U 68/32, out-shot them 10-1, and out-cornered them 4-0, and it's a 0-0 scoreline at halftime.

Jorginho gets redemption converting a PK and we're level.

22 minutes + stoppage to get one more.

Annd they are back

1-1

Let's do 15 more corners

That wasn't even close to being onside

Shit, shit and more shit. Nice enough of Wan Bissaka to hand us a point.

That initial front 3 is just dreadful. We're going to give the title away if we can't get fit up front (not to mention Kante, Kova, Chilwell).

Yeah it was ridiculous.

Obviously disappointed Rudi missed the winner, but that was actually a pretty fun half to watch.

Happy with a point.

After the Sancho goal - sure. Overall - not really. But given who we threw out there I guess it isn't the worst thing in the world.

Obviously we don't have the full picture of where Pulisic, Mount and Rom are fitness wise but I'd like to think  they could have given us more than ~50 mins combined today.

Oh well. Maybe Pool and City will find a way to drop some more points. We shouldn't count on it, though.

* Jorginho is just the 2nd Chelsea player to finish in the top 3 - Lampard finished 2nd in 2005.

Haven't been able to watch the game too closely, but from what I've seen running backups across our midfield doesn't seem to be working too well.  Saul is not good and the goal can be almost entirely attributed to a bad decision by RLC.  We're definitely less dangerous with Alonso and Azpi at WB over Chilly and James.  We badly need to get our injury situation sorted out.

Ziyech gets the goal and now is down after getting headbutted in the back of the head.  I hope he's okay.

Ziyech almost with another.

Havertz with the great cross despite the fact that he's clearly dying out there.

RLC does some stupid shit like give up the goal, then he does some smart shit like drawing the foul there.  He needs time and maturity, but he should be really good.

That's 3 points.

Besides giving the ball away 8 billion times I thought we played pretty well.

If Silva could quit handing them the ball in our 3rd that would be great.

Well shit should be 1 or 2 nil but 2-1 isn't terrible.

They already were. This is 7 dropped in our last 5.

Granted West Ham is really good.

It's still early and I don't see anyone running away with it. Pool needed a miracle to get 3 this weekend.
