  • Figure some people could use a "where we are" instead of going back through multiple pages.  Last day of regionals.  So far, we have confirmed supers in Lubbock, Tucson, Austin, Nashville, Knoxville.

Maybe they shouldn't act like the SEC is the best at everything and the only conference that matters all the time if they don't want to torpedo their own ratings when reality hits.

Samford has scored 2 in the 9th, still nobody out, now down 13-16

Had the bases loaded with no outs. Then, strikeout and a 6-4-3 to end the game.

Campbell has given up, what, 32 runs in 2 games? And they are still alive.

Notre Dame is up 17-2 over UConn.  There have been a lot of beatdowns today

On the other hand, Nevada's done after scoring one measly run in 2 games. They swung the bats pretty well in Austin.

Another rain delay in Gainesville but South Florida is up 5-1 on Miami

Dang. That would have been cool

Uconn coming to bat in the bottom of the 9th, needing just 23 runs to tie it up.

And wouldn't you know it...they've made two quick outs.  This is gonna be a nail-biter

DBU 6, TCU 5

Tech scores 3 in top of 8th( why the fuck are we visitors?)

TTU 7  UNC 2, bottom 8th for UNC batting.

Ryan Sublette faces 12 batters and strikes out 8.

Tech wins 7-2 over UNC.  Tar Heels vs Bruins in elimination game.

???  I mean the rising 9th grader who gets paddled by the Ben Affleck character after his little league game.

#343

Yeah; and he looks exactly like the main Qanon dude.

Pitcher for Gonzaga looks like the kid from Dazed and Confused.

The perfect regional would have been Gonzaga, Fairfield, Southern, and South Alabama. There would be the Zags, the Stags, and two Jags.

13 of the 16 national seeds are 2-0, including ODU at hosting S  Carolina.  The exceptions?

S Florida 2-0 (Florida eliminated)

DBU 2-0 (TCU 1-1)

NC State 2-0 (La Tech 1-1)

I forgot which pundit was going on and on about how N.C. State would make it to a Super, and probably Omaha.  I did not see that coming.  They are looking like a very complete ballclub through two games against solid competition.  Of course USF is the big surprise, particularly since they might be coming to Austin in  5 days time.

The upsets are glaring but overall, the whole tourney is shaking out mostly like it should have.

PSA to the Frogs---get your shit together today, you're making the league look bad.

also, early action today starting in 30 minutes with Charlotte/Maryland elimination game for East Carolina regional.  Virginia @ South Carolina in elimination game to face #1 ODU.  UCONN/C. MICH from South Bend.  And for our purposes, Miami facing a surprisingly tough S. Alabama in Gainesville.  Lots of great 11am games.  Obviously, rest of the field starts at 1 or 2pm for elimination games.

Fuck TCU. I’d be happier if they go 0-2. Fuck the league image.
