This is the second 4 peat in Eddie's career in which he has won 14 national championships and 39 consecutive conference championships.

Just amazing what he has built and maintained here in Austin.

We are a swimming and diving school.

Congrats to Reese and the boys. May he outlive Bill Snyder.

Closest margin of victory in this series of NCs.

But domination is total, and routinely expected.

Texas has a good chance for a 5 peat. A lot of returning points and a loaded recruiting class coming in.

Eddie Reese is an incredible coach.

It's nice having a program that is clutch, especially with so many others under-performing.

This is amazing. Great job Eddie!

That being said, this swim by Dressel deserves some mention, only the 2nd time that a sub 18 has been done in the 50Y free, and Dressel did it earlier in the meet.

14 Championships.  Is there a coach in all of sports anywhere that has 14?  NBA? MLB? NCAA? etc?

Dressel is unbelievable.  Can't wait to see what he does on the international stage.

^
Yeah, well, my roommate from my freshman year spent several years in an Alabama prison for strong-arm rape of a 15-year-old girl he was coaching, so there's that.

And yes, this was one of the most exciting championships yet as it required the team to truly rally on the last day and far exceed expectations in order to secure the win. It must have been very exciting to be a part of.

The 3 that came to mind for me all have less. Geno Auriemma (11 and counting), Wooden (10), and Auerbach (9).

That’s a lot of championships.  We should put them in a hall.

Why would swim/dive want an outdoor pool?

What is there now-parking?

Anyone think about just extending Littlefield fountain?

Grass is there now.

Swimming same lane same place everyday is a drag. Let’s extend the facility that’s hosted nationals numerous times to include an outdoor pool at least on par with what’s at Gregory. Eddie wants an outdoor pool build the man an outdoor pool. Consecutive conference titles since before I was born, won’t someone build the man his pool!

Ps Can we name something the Reese-Robertson, already?

Yeah, at this point I think you just do what Reese asks for as long as it's at all feasible. The man just graduated a senior class who won the national championship every year of their college career.

Recruiting. Better facilities are always a good thing.

Reese has 14 national titles with more coming. He deserves it.

Without divers, Texas already has 20 swimmers qualified for the championships. Unfortunately a school can only bring 18 athletes to the championship meet. Since divers count 0.5 spots and Texas qualified 3 divers yesterday, Texas will have to cut 4 swimmers (tough). Additionally, Reed Merritt might qualify an additional diving spot today or tomorrow.

It’s a damn shame that not having the best facilities in the country has hindered Eddie Reese from winning any hardware     Imagine what he could’ve done with really really nice and  expensive  lockers

It's also a damn shame that it took so long for UT to give Eddie his outdoor swimming pool... but it's finally on its way.
