June 12, 20214 yr An unruly passenger forced a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta to land in Oklahoma City on Friday night, the airline said. Crew members and passengers of Delta Flight 1730 subdued the man after he assaulted two flight attendants and, according to Oklahoma City police, said he was "going to take the plane down." It was the second Delta flight diverted because of a disruptive passenger in as many days. The packed flight Friday night was about two hours away from its destination when an announcement on the intercom advised passengers to return to their seats and prepare to don their oxygen masks, according to passenger Benjamin Curlee, 29, who was seated in the rear. A couple of minutes later, Curlee said, the captain asked that "all able-bodied men please come to the front of the plane for an emergency." Curlee said he and a passenger next to him bolted from their seats to help but did not get very far. "We got nowhere near because basically every man on the plane stepped up and was in the aisle," Curlee said. Once the plane landed, the unruly passenger was taken into custody and transported to a hospital with minor injuries, Oklahoma City Police Capt. Jermaine Johnson said. Passengers had to leave the plane as bomb technicians searched and cleared the aircraft, according to Johnson. Curlee said other passengers later described the man as "very chaotic, very weird" and "very incoherent." A passenger sitting next to the man told Curlee "he felt very uncomfortable with the guy" who asked "a lot of very personal questions" such as his name and the spelling. The passenger told Curlee the man wrote a note to the flight attendant accusing him of being a hijacker. Curlee said he was told the man was "dressed quite oddly," wearing a helmet, with elbow and knee pads. The plane remained in Oklahoma City for more than three hours, according to FlightAware and landed in Atlanta shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday. The disruptive passenger was in the custody of the FBI. Criminal charges have not been filed, according to Johnson. CNN has reached out to the FBI for additional information. https://www.cnn.com/2021/06/12/us/delta-unruly-passenger-flight-diverted/index.html

On our recent United flight they served wine to a lady next to me. I didn’t see if they served anything harder, but there was definitely booze on he plane. June 13, 20214 yr We were flying SWA from Kona to Honolulu a week ago and we're in row ~7. A husband and wife were sitting in row 1 on our side. The plan was probably 30-40% full. Husband is a 60s black guy wearing a straw fedora. Wife is a late 40s bleached blonde high maintenance Karen. Last passenger gets on. Cool you everyone can stretch out. Tona of room. But wait there's one more passenger. Clueless 20 yr old Japanese lady boards... and proceeds to sit between the husband and wife. They are like "there are 100 seats open behind us!-$-?!". She is "no I want to sit here". Stewardess says sorry it is open seating. Anyone is free to sit where they want. If the husband and wife want to sit together they can move to the back of he plane. Much drama and mouthing off from the couple until the stewardess says with another word they are all off the plane.Nobody moves it says anything. Flight takes off. Things appear to cool down. Japanese lady still sitting between them. Now black guy decides he is done wearing a mask and done with this BS. Stands up and starts acting hostile. Stewardess talks him down and he and the wife file to the back of the plane for the last 10 min of the flight. Japanese woman now gets the row to herself. Winning, lol.We land and there are 7 of the biggest cops I have ever seen waiting for the couple. It was all highly entertaining. Why they didn't just tell her she could have the aisle or window and sit together I have no idea.p. People are going crazy.

June 13, 20214 yr Popular Post The only thing that's changed in the last few years is that 4-5 states legalized weed. And its not like being high on weed while flying is anything new. Like the above said that does not cause people to be psychotic. People are slowing losing their sense of decency and respect IMO. Added that people have been given the idea that flying is a public utility and somehow a right and that they can act like fucksticks because they paid $250 to fly to Mexico or Vegas. The whole "you can't tell me what to do" crowd and the Karens. Like I said. Make it a nationwide announcement by the FAA. If you cause problems or assault anyone on a plane you are going to get banned from flying on all US airlines, spend minimum 2 years in jail, and pay a $20,000 fine. Do this and it will stop.

Why they didn't just tell her she could have the aisle or window and sit together I have no idea.p. People are going crazy. Seemed like this shit was going even before the rona. Late 2019 I was on a flight from DCA to SEA and this mid-twenties girl dressed like a slob (no pics and that’s fine believe me) gets on dragging a giant unicorn pillow, laptop, carryon, purse, etc. Sits in my row, I’m in window and a guy maybe in his early thirties is in middle. A very clearly gay flight attendant tells her she needs to stow the pillow and shit because she is blocking the aisle and seat row. She rolls her eyes and puts on headphones. He comes back by, tell her again, she says “I want this with me.” And starts texting someone. Flight attendant comes back a third time, she’s still texting, she calls him a “f—-t” and still refuses to do anything. Fourth time he comes back with a giant cop who tells her to GTFO the plane. She points at me and the dude next to me to vouch for her that she “didn’t do anything,” but my name’s Bennett and I ain’t in it. The cop escorted her off with her dumbass pillow and her shouting homophobic shit the whole way.

Cue someone posting a documented case of weed causing psychotic behavior. Sigh. If I had implied weed was the cause of psychotic behavior then you might have a point. For every off their meds or abusing them individual, or on something else for that matter, there’s some dipshit, low grade stoner smelling of MJ who can’t remember if the terminal carpet also suffices as a urinal. The larger point being that’s its not people showing up boozed to the airport as the poster I replied to suggested. The drop off areas of damn near any airport has the distinctive skunk ass smell of marijuana these days. And that has not remotely been the case in the past. I’m sure plenty of other drugs are being used too.
