Curiosity almost killed the cat (human)...the mentos diaries.

Apparently Mentos is serious business.  Guy pays for Mentos, off duty cop walks in, sees him put the PAID FOR mentos in his pocket, off duty hero pulls gun, profit?

Officer should be fired fuck suspending him with pay or putting him on administrative duty while he files papers.  Very nice little tort claim for IIED that this.

you can see the shock in my words

don't gas up in russia, don't live next to a drug dealer so you don't get no knock raided, don't interact with police ever and now don't buy mentos. got it. just keeping my list up to date

Saw this yesterday, and my first thought was why didn't the clerk speak up for him?

I guess that says a lot about my expectations for police officer behavior...

Video:

Clerk didn't speak up because he didn't want to get shot for interfering in a police investigation.

Right, I don't fault the clerk. He's already got a crappy job with a high amount of risk for robbery. Last thing he wants is to get blasted by an overeager cop.

Other scenario could be that he wasn’t sure about the cop being an actual cop.  For all he knows it’s a dude with a gun and rushing the only other dude there out.
