Have been four times... would gladly go again.  Such a fascinating city.

I'd put Mexico City second in Latin America and, honestly, aside from New York City, I'd say Mexico City is the best city in North America.

Fight me.

Had a chance to visit Bariloche several years ago - beautiful but unfortunately we were there in May so weather was not ideal but, still, would love to go back in either summer or winter.

And fish.  We fished the Rio Pichilefu.  Smaller, but plentiful trout.  Fish the Limay for big boys.

These are hallaca (pronounced ah-yawk-uh) -- a traditional Venezuelan Christmas dish.

They are made in a similar fashion to tamales, but don't taste anything like them. They are made by stuffing arena de pan spread on plaintain leaves with a mix of beef, pork, potatoes, carrots, green and red peppers, sweet peppers, onions, garlic, leeks, green onions, raisins, capers, green olives, aceite de achiote, and spices. The stuffing is cooked separately, then allowed to cool before putting it on the arena de pan which has been spread on the plaintain leaves, all of which is then wrapped and tied off to be boiled.
