Either both are pens or neither are. City’s (non)pen flipped the game. Then Gabriel…. On a yellow, you can’t make that challenge and give the ref, who’s already made dubious calls against your side, a decision to make. Then the winner…that’s City’s luck, and our lack thereof. VAR fuckery aside, we had good chances to add to the lead but couldn’t finish them. We have to start converting more of those, like champions will. A very good performance than deserved at least a point. Fucking City, fuckers. Edited January 1, 20223 yr by Dutch

January 4, 20223 yr Author btw that City game was the best played under Arteta (er, sort of, lol), and if we were to somehow maintain that level of play for the next few we will absolutely go toe to toe with Liverpool and Tottenham, even on the road. we did to City what City what usually does to everyone they play. at least up until the red card. this club is going places, and i'm crunk as hell for the future.
January 10, 20223 yr Well that sucked. Before the match I remember thinking, "we can't 'Arsenal' this, can we?" Sigh. 21 hours ago, Buzzrock said: Let’s never wear all white again This. Burn em.
January 14, 20223 yr Author big response from the players who were left on the pitch, but Xhaka has screwed us getting himself suspended like this. i have no idea how we're even going to field a midfield vs Tottenham.
January 14, 20223 yr We won't have to fake them; if Saka, ESR, and Cedric can't go, we won't have 13. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/jan/14/arsenal-tottenham-premier-league-covid
January 14, 20223 yr Knowing our luck, the PL will make us play with 11, Leno in midfield, assign Mike Dean as the match ref. Fuck you, Mike Dean.
January 15, 20223 yr Thankfully doesn’t appear serious. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/jan/14/pierre-emerick-aubameyang-diagnosed-cardiac-lesions-afcon-gabon-arsenal Edited January 15, 20223 yr by Dutch

January 15, 20223 yr Damn. Probably a good thing, considering we have no midfield. Fuck Sp*rs anyways.
January 15, 20223 yr We had 12 outfield players healthy; PL no other choice but I’m still slightly surprised they didn’t deny our request.
January 20, 20223 yr Fortune favors the bold? Because this is a bold lineup. We'll either win 2-1 or lose 3-1. COYG!!!!
January 23, 20223 yr Burnley… always a struggle for us. It was earlier this season. Really need three points today. COYG!!!
January 23, 20223 yr MFing Burnley are going to nick a winner late. We have no creativity do unlock their parked bus.
January 23, 20223 yr We’re playing with 10 men; Sambi should have been subbed at halftime. I’ve had more an impact than he has.
January 23, 20223 yr Odegaard’s going to have to win in here… Nope. FUCK Edited January 23, 20223 yr by Dutch
January 23, 20223 yr Fucking hell. Held by the bottom club. No plan B, dull as a butter knife. In no way good enough; with a change to get back in the top four and we roll out that…Spineless Fucking fuck.

February 1, 20223 yr Author everyone i see online seems to believe that the sky is falling, but i still trust the guys in charge. they've earned that trust with all of the deadwood they've dumped, plus a 10/10 summer window. they went all in on Vlahovic and couldn't get it done, and then they refused to do something crazy like lay Isak's release clause just because we didn't get our guy. the club has a plan, a long term plan, and finishing top 4 this season was never the apex of that plan. it would be awesome for it to happen, but if Arteta doesn't want to spend money just for the sake of spending money then i back him. we got six really good players last summer, including three who look like they could be started in our back five for the next 7-8 years, and that was with no European football. yeah, we're probably not going to finish top 4, and signing new players may not have changed that anyway. but we have a plan, we are sticking to it, and we have opened up a ton of room on the books to bring in even more young, talented players who are the right fit for the system, and even enough money to make a huge signing or two. nobody will ever care that we didn't finish top 4 this year if we knock it out of the park again this sunmer. Mikel is on record from just a few days ago as saying that we WILL be bringing in not just new players, but better players, because the next step of the process is taking the progress we've made in the last 8 months, and then elevating the level of play and competition even further. if that means not deviating from the plan or over-paying for players so that we can chase the top four this year then so be it. the hiring of Arteta was always a long term plan, and if sacrificing top four this year means we build a squad that finishes top four every year then who can be upset about that?
February 10, 20223 yr Let's hope the break reenergized the lads. We really need three points today. COYG!!!!
February 10, 20223 yr Author dude that is a fucking booking. i hate this "that would have been a booming if it weren't so early in the match" shit.
February 10, 20223 yr Author Martinelli has superstar potential. He is electric. Amazing how fast he can sprint with the ball at his feet, and he goes from 0-60 in no time.
February 10, 20223 yr Just get to halftime the clean sheet intact.... We're going to need more than one goal here; I don't think we'll keep them out all match.
