If Va had such a great O line why did they suck? Honest question, didn't pay any attention to them this year.

Short version is that they are #6 in adjusted yards per play on offense but #119 defensively and #83 in turnover margin.

Out of left field no? Or is Kelly already making a shit first impression on the team?

Kelly has generally played mobile QBs. That's not Johnson.

I know he had a freshman qb that played some just to run but Jack Coan is about as much of a statue back there as Johnson’s dad late in his career. Maybe Kelly came in and said it’s Brennan’s job but just thought it was a quick call for a guy that had a decent year.

I'd gladly take him and his brother if Ewers goes elsewhere.

Nahlin did say he was an "interesting option," which probably means the coaches are interested

Help an old out? Need interpretation…

The explanation is in the screenshot...

Barron and Worthy with Mukuba, probably getting a meal based on context clues.

I think the thought is Barron is trying to recruit him to Austin via the transfer portal. Mukuba was all ACC as a freshmen.

So Mukuba is in Austin? Was this known?

He’s from Austin so he could be home for a slight winter break before going back for bowl practices.

Nahlin wrote earlier today that he would inquire about Mukuba - but said that OU had finished second to Clemson for him and it seems that if he did want to transfer that would be the place he’d go.

I hear he is in Austin fairly frequently. You know, for some reason.

I thought he said that Mukuba liked OU but not necessarily that they finished 2nd.

He's from Austin.  Probably home from college.

As long as they ain't trying to bring his ex HS teammate McCutchen

That are more recent considerations in play for Mukaba. Does he has a good relationship with BV?  Does he want to follow him?  Does he want to come home?  Is he happy at Clemson without BV?  Does he like NIL money?

I’d take it slow with Max Johnson. Be sure it is a fit before going all in.

They played a de facto play in game for their division so it’s not like they had a terrible year

Mukuba may be the player we are expecting to get that hadn’t entered the portal yet?

Nahlin says no.  At this point IT doesn't know if Mukuba plans on portaling and if he does they think OU would be the favorite to land him right now (but thats not based off of anything new - just a guess).

Go get him sark, believe it was down to LSU and us at the time.

Could he be the guy IT said wasn't in the portal yet?
