Greg Olson Hints That Chris Warren Wasn’t Professional

After the team’s second practice of training camp, Olson took to the podium to address the media. He offered interesting insight as to why Warren is no longer with the team, as the Raiders’ official Twitter account revealed.

“We just wanted to bring James Butler in,” said Olson, when asked about the decision to let Warren go. “There are certain standards that we have here and we expect a certain level of professionalism with our players coming in fitness-wise. He didn’t meet our fitness expectations, so we decided to make a change.”

From the sounds of that, it appears Warren showed up to training camp out of shape and not ready to work. That’s a pretty surprising reveal considering Warren had to have known he was heading into a heated competition to make the roster. This doesn’t bode well for Warren’s future prospects as an NFL running back. Another team may give him a chance, but Olson’s comment definitely doesn’t help.

And that is why Kyle Porter had to be the running back that season.

Nah.

Dad may have called in a favor...

"The Seahawks are working out running back Chris Warren III and offensive tackle Brian Wallace this week, Brady Henderson of ESPN reports.

Warren’s father, Chris Warren II, spent eight seasons with the Seahawks. Warren II gained 7,696 rushing yards and 57 total touchdowns in his 11 NFL seasons after Seattle made him a fourth-round choice in 1990.  Warren III led the Raiders in rushing during the 2018 preseason before landing on injured reserve.  The Raiders cut him this week.

Wallace started at right tackle for Arkansas before going undrafted in April. He signed with Washington, which cut him last week.I

I feel sorry for Chris. I don't think his issues have anything to do with talent. I hope he gets his life together.

Why are you advocating for him to become a pornstar

three years since a regular season game?  he was looking ok in the preseason last year was he not?

He's a defensive end. Should've switched positions like Henry Shelton did.
