July 2, 20214 yr On Amazon, any one watching? I am 6 episodes in and loving it. Classic Jeremy and the local support folks he gets are hilarious.
July 3, 20214 yr I thought it was brilliant. Last episode outro got me a little choked up, even. Second Season confirmed. Edited July 3, 20214 yr by dcbc
July 5, 20214 yr My farmer friends say it's real good. Cool to watch him learn, and make fun of himself along the way.
July 5, 20214 yr Just starting this. Would like to know how scripted/fake it is. so he’s had the farm for 10 years and had another guy farm it, but there’s not as much as a tractor that belongs to the farm? His lessee owned all the relevant equipment? And didn’t sell it to him when he “retired?”
February 10, 20232 yr Awesome, love this show. Hopefully Kaleb continues calling him an idiot. No spoilers required... "he does".
February 11, 20232 yr End of S2E1 made me literally LOL when he said cows would be less bother than sheep. But I have to admit that was a sweet fence building machine.
February 12, 20232 yr Just finished Season 2. Love this show... and really wish I had been able to make it there last July.
February 12, 20232 yr Yeah still going strong. It’s one perspective though so I wonder how off the wall vindictive the town/board actually are/were. The red tape and guidelines at odds with one another are easy to believe.

February 16, 20232 yr I’ve found myself smiling through at least 50% of this show. Involuntarily, just reaction. Can’t recall any other show I’ve reacted that way. I’m also intrigued by the bespoke liquor cabinet in the back of his rig. Might be a future birthday request.

March 10, 20232 yr So let me get this straight, Gerald's speech actually becomes understandable as he gets drunker?
March 31, 20232 yr I concur. Still really entertaining. I hope they keep this going. Me too. Just finished it. It’s just feel good TV, mostly because Clarkson is living a life I envy, and enjoying the little things along the way.
April 1, 20232 yr I'm slightly pissed I can't eat at his farm restaurant. The Cotswolds is on the top of my UK bucket list. Farm to table is a really cool concept and something I'd like to experience. It looks like I have a couple options in Greater Houston.

April 15, 20232 yr So in episode 6 of season 2, there's an instrumental while they show the living fence. Right at the 30 minute mark. Anyone have any idea what this song is?Soundshound/Shazam/Google were unsuccessful.

That's just a generic composition that whoever is in charge of the show's soundtrack happened upon. Or composed themselves. It sounds nice but it's extremely basic.

Thanks for checking. I'll see if he responds.
April 16, 20232 yr I was apparently out of the loop, but Amazon is canning Clarkson because of a Meghan Markle comment about her walking through London naked while people yell shame and fling shit at her. Seems the Game of Thrones joke didn't play well. No new episodes beyond those already committed to. https://variety.com/2023/tv/global/jeremy-clarkson-amazon-grand-tour-canceled-1235490701/

April 16, 20232 yr You must mean the farm show. GT is just one off specials now. Wonder if they go on with just the other 2, try to replace him, or just ditch the property altogether.
April 17, 20232 yr 25 minutes ago, Grimas said: Well, the thread is called Clarksons Farm... But the link you quoted says Jeremy clarkson Amazon grand tour cancelled.
April 17, 20232 yr I quoted someone else quote but in that link it does say specifically about Carkson's Farm: "Prime Video already has a number of shows in the works with Clarkson, which are going to go ahead, but the decision effectively means that “Clarkson’s Farm” will end with Season 3 (expected in 2024)." So it sounds like there will at least be another season of Clarkson's Farm...
May 2, 20241 yr Seeing the pigs gave me flashbacks. I grew up on a large production hog farm. If I had a nickel for every time I’ve been armpit deep in a sow’s vagina…

If I had a nickel for every time I’ve been armpit deep in a sow’s vagina… Had a friend named Willie that chose pigs as his FFA project. One day the whole class loaded up on the bus to drive out and watch him cut (castrate) them. He picked the first one up by the back legs, but he was standing behind the pig. So when he picked it up it meant the pig's belly was against his belly, and the pig's mouth was right at Ground Zero. It was like Stoops took control of that swine. I don't know who was squealing louder, Willie or the pig. Can't confirm the pigs were the only ones that lost function at the end of the day.
May 2, 20241 yr I hope little piggy had already had its teeth clipped. Somehow the one job I never did was castration. Did damn near everything else though.
May 3, 20241 yr Enjoyed it, but the girlfriend was bawling last night during and after the piglet episode.
May 18, 20241 yr This is my favorite streaming show. As a city boy I get to learn about the difficulties of farming, while also laughing with the occasional dusty room. Well done Clarkson.

And so much of that is because of Caleb and Gerald and Lisa. Brings a lot of laughs and the occasional tear. I know they're filming Season 4 now. The sign on the burger trailer, if you missed it, says "You saw Season 2, now eat the cast!"

May 23, 20241 yr Lotsa farmers in the US love this show. He shows the real challenges of farming and complains about government rules. What's not to love.
