Anyone know why the secondary market is so sparse this year? Usually have a lot of options even pre season but there’s nothing out there really and what’s there is higher than I can ever remember.

Seems a big cigar wouldn’t be too worried about ticket prices.

Uh, people that bought tickets actually want to go?

At least on the Texas side, you don’t get your OU tickets until a couple weeks before the game, so it don’t know where they are and don’t have the barcode, so you can’t list them. It’s always been sparse and prohibitively expensive until that point. If you’re committed to second hand for OU, best thing to do is wait until a couple weeks before hand, possibly even day of.

I honestly don’t think that’s it or it would be this way every year. There’s definitely less preseason inventory this year and prices are quite a bit higher than normal. Maybe the ticket brokers didn’t survive the shut down and lack of inventory is driving prices up.

I have a pretty sizable seatgeek credit from the lsu game last year that expires 9/1 so hopefully more come online.

I don't buy until 3 weeks before. I got row 1 seats for around $400 each not too long ago, I think Ehlinger's sophomore year.

There isn't any actual inventory available right now.  At least on the Texas side.  Anything available for purchase is likely brokers short selling.
