Didn't find a recruiting thread for Coach Vic, so here it is. This is a very good pick up for Coach Vic, Sammie has been courted by L$U and U$C all season (My daughter is part of Reagan's girls b

  • She won't play.  She's rehabbing an ACL injury.  She wasn't going to play her senior year at CP regardless, but now she gets an extra semester of Texas Athletics medical care and rehab.  Smart play, b

Texas looks good, up 16 in the 2nd Q

Texas shooting 52% and 10-12 from the line. Holding DePaul to 37% and 0-fer BTA

16 for Moore so far

57-38 Texas at half. Really good half

Gaston looks very dialed in. She and Jones would be a legit 4/5 combo with Moore possibly at the 3

Shaylee nailed a couple threes in the 3rd. That’s big

Freshman Jak fouls out in the 3rd lol. It’ll happen

But this team is relentless defensively. So far the biggest concerns are three point shooting and not picking up offensive fouls. Have seen a lot of illegal screens

DePaul averaged 90 last year and they have 45 right now with 11 min to play. Texas already at 80 points

Sonya Morris’ shot is silky. People gonna love her

Texas beat the crap out of a legit fringe top 25 team that has last year’s National Freshman of the Year. And no Taylor Jones for Texas

105-62 final

Sonya has a great shot. Faye had a double double. Moore and Gaston looked really good and healthy. Rori dished it.

Forced 29 turnovers

It makes no sense that ISU is the preseason favorites to win the Big12, but I'm glad that our team has that as billboard material.

It’s such bullshit not to give that deference to the reigning conference champs who owned ISU last year.

Texas is #3 and somehow picked 2nd in their conference. Wild.
