Full strength I don't see us losing either but the worry is, if due to covid, we end up fielding a diminished squad. I think there is a lot of gray area in the decision making process of all college and pro sports now. You want to keep everyone safe and act with integrity but you also want to win. Success this year, in part, may just depend on your luck in the timing of your infections. I wonder when they will make the decision? A lot of phone calls going on right now I'm sure - teams, leagues, players, medical staff, networks....

If Baylor or UConn are interested we may not have a shot, but I'm all in. With those kind of numbers I'm surprised she's in the portal with only one season left. Do we have a reason for her leaving? I hate these one season rentals but that's the world we live in. ... she may not get as much playing time at Baylor or Uconn... I don't see Chevalier declaring any destination on her twitter, I would have thought something would have been said by now.

Former Muskegon standout Alyza Winston enters transfer portal - mlive.com Winston was a four-star recruit coming out of Muskegon High School and was ranked the No. 68 overall player in the country. She quickly earned playing time with the Spartans during the 2019-20 season and played in 30 games as a freshman. The playmaking guard was viewed as an up-and-coming talent in the Big Ten Conference this winter after averaging 11.1 points and 1.3 rebounds per game as a sophomore last season. As a junior, Winston averaged 12.2 points per game, three assists, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals in 26.7 minutes played per game. Winston has already been removed from the school’s official roster and athletics website. The reasoning behind the transfer remains unclear but Michigan State head coach Suzy Merchant had recently mentioned the possibility of freshman guard Deedee Hagemann entering the starting lineup, which would have likely come at Winston’s expense.
December 30, 20213 yr "The reasoning behind the transfer (Alyza Winston) remains unclear but Michigan State head coach Suzy Merchant had recently mentioned the possibility of freshman guard Deedee Hagemann entering the starting lineup, which would have likely come at Winston’s expense." Sounds familiar. So not as good as their freshman, but seasoned and putting up numbers. The portal giveth and it taketh away. Oops, you beat me to it. Edited December 30, 20213 yr by TommysTinyTowels
December 31, 20213 yr Mizzou upsets SCe 70-69 (nice) in Columbia. Not going to go undefeated. Mizzou hit game winner with 0.1 left in OT
December 31, 20213 yr Still projected as the 2 seed in Spokane with Stanford (1), Michigan (3) and Nell Fortner’s Georgia Tech (4). I’d be so okay with hitting Michigan in the S16 and then Tree in the E8. We really fucked them up with our pressure defense because they still don’t appear to have solved their PG situation.
December 31, 20213 yr Welp. Sounds like we're going to be playing this game down some players on Sunday.

But this #3 Louisville - #16 GT game is a good appetizer. 48-48 with 35.4 left. Nell’s Ramblers will be dangerous in the NCAAT. Play very good defense Edited January 2, 20223 yr by Js1
January 2, 20223 yr Louisville hits the winner with 3.3 left. Finished the game on an 8-1 run. They had 3 points in the 1Q!
January 2, 20223 yr Welp, we're down to like 2 bigs. Covid is going to make this season interesting again.
January 2, 20223 yr That blows. If Moore has been cleared, that’s 3 - Ebo, Lattimore and Moore Edited January 2, 20223 yr by Js1
January 2, 20223 yr Poor Schaefer. With injuries and Covid he's only had his full roster together for a few games in 2 seasons. This has to be annoying and tiresome.
January 2, 20223 yr That's a very interesting starting 5 based on the previous starting lineups. Hopefully, we aren't without Harmon too.

January 2, 20223 yr Fields already 2/2 from three. Texas with 3 fouls already. JAT needs to be ball handling - Matharu looks shaky
January 2, 20223 yr This looks like it's going to be a grind with a bunch of fouls. Not ideal because we're limited on bodies.
January 2, 20223 yr These refs likes to call fouls and it's the last thing Texas needs with so many players out.
January 2, 20223 yr Good finish to the 1st. Only down 1. Could be about 15 the way we started. Edited January 2, 20223 yr by texasstrong12
January 2, 20223 yr The only positive with all the injuries/Covid is Lattimore is getting a lot more minutes than she probably would have. That should speed up her development.
January 2, 20223 yr Holding Oklahoma State to 29% from the field. 1/3 their points are from FTs. Just keep them off the FT line.
January 2, 20223 yr Our defense is much worse with Ebo on the court. She can't move. Texas doesn't have many options though today.
January 2, 20223 yr Need more minutes for Harmon and especially Lattimore. I know it's going to kill Schaefer to play this many true FR big minutes but Lattimore > Ebo. We went on that big run with Lattimore at the 5.
January 2, 20223 yr Find someone that loves you as much as college basketball refs love to call fouls.

January 2, 20223 yr Just now, Js1 said: Yet DeLapp keeps sticking that hip out and no whistle This has been a weirdly officiated game which I say in about 80% of college basketball games I watch.
January 2, 20223 yr Just now, texasstrong12 said: Baylor is about to find out the hard reality of losing somebody like Mulkey. NaLyssa Smith looked human. Ayoka Lee did not. She’s a handful
January 2, 20223 yr 7 point lead heading to the 4th. Matharu with 4 fouls and Harmon 3. Gotta play smart because these refs are begging to call fouls.
