July 21, 20214 yr https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walk,_Don't_Run A couple of days ago I was watching an ESPN documentary about the '64 Tokyo Summer Olympics and it reminded me of this film. I did not realize that 1964 was the last year Tokyo had hosted the Summer Olympics. This is a good film to get you excited for the upcoming event and also, this was Cary Grant's last film before he retired. He was wonderful as Sir William Rutland, who arrives in Tokyo for a business meeting a couple of days early and because of the Olympics can't find a hotel. Today you would just go online for a VRBO or an AirBnB, but back then you put a card tacked on a bulletin board advertising an available, temporary, room. The music is by Quincy Jones. If you can find this movie, make some popcorn, grab a drink and settle in. Edited July 21, 20214 yr by Brandywine
