I mean, forgetting that Michigan State is already in the conference, they ADDED Nebraska...

Well boys and girls, in today's episode of Irony-deaf Oafs, we travel to TexAgs. They're the ones who scorn others as arrogant and over-rated. See if you can find the mirror in the picture.

This has been quoted so much, that I was forced to think about the actual content.

Think of the scope of this claim and how you won't see a fan anywhere else say this about a team anywhere else. This is the essence of my obsession with that cult-ure.

They (TexAggies and their ilk) are so sure that they must be God's favorite themselves because of their purity, honor, courage, decency, and humility that their rival blasphemes by being better in every aspect aside from a few colleges within the universities.

With this insane conviction, they are like inept, babbling stalkers who don't instill fear nearly so much as they invite ridicule. And you must keep an eye on them. Occasionally they come too close and must be shoved with force to the ground as a reminder that they are not facing the fairies they declare us to be. They respond like the Black Night in MP and the Holy Grail.

Again, I'm talking about the Aggie cult not all Aggies. I think now the majority of their student body are students like anywhere else. Plenty of intelligent Aggies who feel the same about their school as I do about Texas post around here.

Lulz.

If they're complaining about Geffrard's ranking, wonder how they feel about their latest OL signee, Coen Echols, and the IOL ranked above him .... 😂 😂😂

You might be tempted to think that more than one player influences a defense's total rankings. Not aggy, though. They're too smart for all of that. One of them saw a QUARTERBACK drag this guy for 6 yards with his own unbiased eyes. What do you say to that, t-sips? WHOOP

Lulz. The dude is 380 pounds. The odds of a QB dragging him anywhere is about as likely as Elko running a marathon.

Tom Herman & Charlie Strong agree. Of course you don’t want coordinators that anyone else might poach.

Someone start reserving B1G G1G license plates in Texas now!

Good thinking, it’s about time for them to remove the WRTS license plates.

'Dragged' isn't the right word, but he did get out-leveraged.

I remember watching that play live and thinking the dude got embarrassed. Game on the line and you can't drop the QB? I get that it's harder than it looks, but come on.

A big fat guy can't move well. Shocking.

He should have held on and gone limp, like a toddler holding on to a parent’s leg. Pulling a 380lb anchor attached to one leg would be impossible.

Kinda bad rep but he does do well to peel off the OL in the first place. The real sinner is #3 on the Arkansas defense, who is unblocked and kinda just slides off the QB

If I remember right in watching that game, that play was at the end of the game after he'd played like 50 snaps and completely gassed. They had no depth and left him out there in desperation. That dude playing 20 snaps a game, all out, for Texas will look nothing like the guy on that play. People are way to simple with this kind of stuff.

I did everyone a favor and followed the www.BeyondTexas.com URL that is displayed on that London bus advertisement. And everyone here should be glad I did, because it redirects to the least surprising and yet most aggy thing possible:
https://www.tamu.edu/beyondtexas/index.html

I'll save you the trouble of actually clicking:

Much like mocking Tech for their billboard, I'm sure any Brit will head to this link and think "I know exactly who/what Reveille is" right after they see the giant "PAGE NOT FOUND" message. Advertising dollars well spent, right there.

I didn't attend Texas (small Midwest liberal arts undergrad) but I was on staff for over 11 years. On my first day of work in 2011, the Flawn Academic Center (former UGL) was covered in window paint saying "GIG EM" and "THIS IS SEC COUNTRY." Apparently those fuck nuggets were so pumped about being invited to the SEC that they were willing to drive 3 hours to desecrate some random academic building to express themselves. This billboard shows how hard they try to convince themselves that they're meaningful at all.
