I dunno...perpetual victimhood is a thing these days. If you're off on your own as a mediocre insurance salesman, you can get away with playing the victim all fucking day long and it may even make you feel better about your lot in life. If you're a con artist and play the role of a perpetual victim, whether in business or in politics, they're the exact type of person you can convince to follow you. Obviously they're death to team morale though if you're in that type of environment. But if you're hiring people, or in charge of the people who hire people, there are relatively easy and effective things you can do to screen for them. In fact I was just coaching someone yesterday on how to do just that after he bemoaned the number of perpetual victims on his team.

In fact they're now claiming Texas had "Our Guy" in charge of the NCAA and that we also controlled a regional committee that decided which infractions merited further investigation. The University of Texas is the only reason, per aTm, that they got busted for their program breaking bright line NCAA rules. I seriously just read that above.

Where do they come up with this BS? It literally takes 5 minutes of research.

In 1988, when they were handed their punishments from the NCAA for recruiting violations, the NCAA president transitioned from Walter Byer (in position since 1951) to Dick Schultz.

Byer was born in Kansas City, MO, went to Rice for a year, transferred to U Iowa, served in the military, was a news reporter in the Midwest, sports editor, then Big 10 administrator before being named the first NCAA executive director.

Schultz was born in Iowa, high school coach in Iowa, head baseball coach at U Iowa, head basketball coach at U Iowa, AD at Cornell, AD at Virginia, then NCAA executive director.

Byer was at Rice for one year, and that's the only tie either has to the entire state of Texas, much less the University of Texas. It's amazing to me the BS they convince themselves to believe.

The connection is easier than 7° of Kevin bacon.  UT had both Herman and Strong who coached under Meyer, who coached under Earle Bruce.  After Bruce left tOSU he coached at Iowa State.   Iowa state is in the state of Iowa, and there is your connection you stupid tee sipper.

Just so we can trigger the absolute shit of them

We should ask for a rule that no SEC conference member can display or wear the SEC logo unless they have won the conference.  Why would we give two shits? Let's earn it. That would trigger those coat tail riding jock sniffers.

I smell fear. You know...aggy. I like it.

Since it’s only year six in the reign of sitting national champion coach Jumbo Fisher, it would have to be considered acceptable.

I've said this many times, but of course, I was speaking of aggy. And, if you check the boards of every other SEC school, that position is confirmed. Everyone in the SEC has realized that aggy is a  homoerotic army cult that does really weird shit, and every SEC fanbase other than aggy realizes bringing them in wasn't such a good idea.

Jesus. A Texas person is behind every slight. Getting the first Texas vs A&M at Kyle field is the measure of their respect in the conference. These people are really mentally fucked up and need counseling.

"what sip wrote this drivel?"

Weigman looks promising for sure. Leave it to the Aggies to want him highly ranked based on two games, one of which was against a vastly over-rated opponent. It's exactly like them wanting to be treated as though they've won something when all they've done is come mildly close in the Covid season.

If Weigman pans out/survives, they'll claim nobody thought he was any good because of the mean t-sips in Asstin.

I’m interested to see their offense without Achane carrying the offense.

Poor kid.  They're already dubbing him the next Reggie McNeal Kyler Murray Kenny Hill Kyle Allen Trevor Knight Stephen McGee Jerrod Johnson Kellen Mond

He's a baseball player. He shouldn't be out there.

It isn't that he doesn't look good. It's that they always do this exact thing.

Every next QB is going to win the Heisman. And then they throw them away.

a lot of aggy call it Asstin. I'm sure Moses and Stephen F. are amused.

Weigman is talented, but he absolutely locked up under pressure last season. When he was under pressure he sprayed the ball all over the place. I would anticipate him to be better this year, but if that OL stays shitty his ceiling will only be moderately higher than last year.

He'll be concussed by game 3, I mean have the flu, so it won't matter.

KJ Jefferson deserves the number 1 slot. Number 1 dumbass.

Damn, those morons are such a beating.

do these guys actually think we joined the SEC primarily because we wanted to play them again?

There probably will be a push for a
national reshuffling of conference
affiliations and jump on that as a way to
get away from sip when they realize
exactly why satan was responsible for not
one but two conferences blowing up..

So now when the inevitable super league type rearrangement happens in 10+ years it will be our fault as well.  Sweet.   We are so powerful, you would think with all our power we would have won more.

Ok….let’s flip a coin for first game with aggy:

Heads       We play in Austin

Tails           We play at DKR

Yep,  SEC is going to book back to back road games for these idiots to LSU,  so they can have a home game against Texas to start 2024.    Actually,  I kind of root for this as it would be great to see LSU push their shit in two years in a row,  as well as us beating them again at Kyle as the Chef's Kiss.  The post game tears after begging the SEC for the privilege would result in a swath of near fatal Surly aggie tear ODs.

Wait, we blew up the Big12 by staying in the Big12 for more than a decade after other schools left?
