Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread

The "dermdoc" cracks my shit up. He is completely unhinged, thinks he's wise, and has a medical disclaimer as his signature. Holy shit. He never disappoints.

"flyrancher" also has a post that is so on-brand for aggie posters that it almost makes me think it is a well done troll job, but then I remember that these are aggies and they're just that unaware of the clichés about them.

They’d get eaten alive in the Big Ten from a culture standpoint. The only fans in the country that could possibly entertain their cultish activities would be the sister fuckers of the SEC and even they are sick of aggy’s shit.

Now imagine if you will, an opponent who kills 12 kids by recklessly allowing them to stack thousands of pounds of logs while drunk.

And imagine you show lots of respect, hold blood drives, and say all the right things, including letting that opponent decide whether or not to play the football game. Then imagine traveling to town to play that opponent and having derogatory signs lining the highway on the way into town. Having their fans call your players' rooms all night long, despite the hotel being told to hold all calls. Imagine the hotel failing to provide your team breakfast before the game, just to be dicks because of a rivalry. And imagine their piece of shit fans yelling "beat the hell out of..." as your band plays a tribute and holds a moment of silence for their students killed by their negligence.

Imagine students at that same school several years later who are official representatives of said school shoveling horse shit into your band without provocation. I know, really hard to imagine.

"When sports become disrespectful" indeed, bitch.

This right here. The magnitude of their hypocrisy is almost impossible even to hint at in a single post. If being a soft, tea-sipping snob to them means not killing students or literally throwing crap at guests, then yes— we are guilty.

🤣🤣🤣 These fucking dorks actually think they "stole" a NC coach instead of FSU basically punting the mother fucker out the door like Jack Black punted Baxter in Anchor Man.

There are no words for this arrogant stupidity.

I'm by no stretch a conspiracy theorist, but it seems to me the more time goes goes by with their incessant whining and crying, the more "unfortunate things" seem to happen to them. Almost like the whole world is sick of their act.

Two things. Aggies want to be given respect and protection and love and admiration. Not how it works.

Second, among the dreadful drone of repeated phrases, this notion keeps poppin up:

image.png.e68a340f66232aca95edd79dea35d2e0.png

It's always implies that they've been doing all kinds of other stuff to get respect in competitive sports.

Nobody is protecting our back or being gentleman or nice like we are. What in the world do we have to do?

Fuck all the other stuff we we're doing, it's time to start winning!

No shit. You're the national champions of idiocy. You personify Karen-ness as stated above. And. You. Never. Shut. Up.

Self-righteously indignant aggie is the best aggie. Lack of self-awareness is a constant, but the indignance fades every now and then when things go their way for a while. It’s awesome when they come crashing back to earth and meet the reality of their perpetual futility.

Also, they’re actually claiming a conspiracy here that I believe is correct and an ongoing truth - they don’t have any friends at the NCAA and when the NCAA can slight them in some way, they absolutely will.

The difference between their conspiracy theories on why it’s happening and the truth is where I disagree with them. They think it’s some bizarre scenario of the world of college athletics being threatened by their potential prowess while in reality, they can’t help but constantly pull the bookshelf down on top of themselves. They held a press conference and sent a 9 page dossier out last March bemoaning a conspiracy from the NCAA to keep their shitty basketball team from playing in the tournament. Now they’re shocked at potential repercussions. Greatness.

Lol, preach it brother, preach it.

~~~Go tell it on the mountain ~~~
Silly shits don't understand that they haven't earned any respect.  Not by winning, not by behaving in a manner that would encourage respect, and not by respecting others.  They can’t fathom that if they act like pissants, they will be treated like pissants.
All this consternation about seeding and tip time is going to be so delicious when Penn State beats them convincely.
You just don't understand how awesome they are.
Nobody understands how awesome they are, and they're going to whine and snivel about it, and do fucking Yell Practice wherever is most annoying in your home town, and kill as many of themselves with gigantic logs as it takes until all you Godless heathens acknowledge the sublime perfection that is Aggy.
Cuz that's how life works, right?
Don't you get it? They're generating the excuses now, for why they lost. In their minds, they should have been a 3-seed facing a 14-seed, but the NCAA screwed them, so they're going to have to play an amazing 10th-seed Penn State. On top of THAT, they're going to have to play at 9:55pm, which is clearly designed to favor the Nittany Lions, who are used to playing later at night since they're on the East Coast. All of that is why they lost, not because their team sucked.
They'll screw you when you're trying to go home
And they'll screw you when you're there all alone
But I would not feel so all alone
We are happy with 9:55 pm since it is a prime-time game you stupid sip, don't you know we are the bigger draw.
Agy was never upset about Texas arrogance, they were upset about their position in the pecking order.  Talk to Tech fans about ag arrogance.
“Told no way does sip come to sec without our approval” complains fan of school who voted affirmatively on Texas coming to the sec.
Constant state of aggrievement.  Always.  What a bunch of whining losers.
as a quick reminder, Notre Dame in 2020 was 10-1 going into the CFP. they had beaten then #1 Clemson 47-40 before losing to them in the ACC Championship game.
Texas A&M had lost 1 game that year, 54-24 vs Alabama in Week 2. they topped out at #5 and never entered the top 4 teams in the AP , coaches of CFP poll. they were pretty clearly a good team and pretty clearly in the eyes of everyone who had a vote the #5 team and first team out in a 4 team playoff.
A&M spent weeks 10-16 ranked at #5 in the AP Poll and #6 in the Coaches poll. they never were ranked in the top 4 in the CFP that year, always ranked at #5.
Notre Dame meanwhile spent weeks 10-15 ranked at #2 and after losing to Clemson were #4 in both polls. they were ranked at #2 in the CFP until the final week when they dropped to #4.
Clemson spent the first 9 weeks of the season at #1 in both coaches and AP polls. after they lost in week 9 they spent weeks 10-15 in the top 4 (as #4 or 3 depending on AP or coaches.) they spent all of the CFP as the #3 team until they beat then #2 CFP team ND before they moved up to finish as the #2 team in the final poll.
Alabama spent all year ranked #1 2 ro 3. after week 10 they were #1 in all polls and the CFP
Ohio State was #3 from week 9 on in the AP (#4 in coaches) and was never ranked below #4 in the CFP (bumped up to #3 in the final poll)
they can complain all they want but...
  • tOSU was pretty clearly in as long as they won out (they went undefeated and never dropped out of the top 4 in CFP)
  • Alabama was clearly #1 that year
  • Clemson was obviously a top 4 team, and their loss to ND was without their starting QB
  • ND could have been iffy, but they easily had a better win and had been ranked high all season long.
meanwhile, A&M's best win of the year was over then #4 Florida (by 3 points) - that Florida team ended up 8-4, including a bad loss at home to 5-5 LSU. they played 2 ranked teams for the regular season and went 1-1 against them. ND played 2 teams and went 2-0.
so yeah. were they good that year? sure. was it a strange year? sure. were they clearly better than ND, who on paper had a better looking win and a better looking loss to another CFP team? no. was it some travesty to put ND (who made their conf champ game) in over them? no. did many people outside of College Station think it was insanity? no.
A&M already played and per usual, played the role of the spoiler - with other and more viable options, nobody wanted to see that game played again.  Know your role gomers....
They were and still are upset because it is another reminder of who they are.     A middling to good team that will always be passed over for someone like ND.
That's why they desperately wanted to ride SEC coattails.   Thus their "the conference didn't do anything for us in 2020" narrative.
Somebody straighten me out here. Is it a little brother or a big brother always looking around for someone to cover his back? Is it the little brother or the big brother who actually steps up to protect someone's back?
Is it a man or a boy who constantly laments that all of his problems are the result of the actions of others?
Stupid and pathetic is no way to go through life.
They really though that when they joined the SEC, they'd found a cultural fit that would appreciate all their weirdness. When that didn't happen, they became determined to buy respect with Jimbo Baggins and his bags of power. It never occurs to them to just be normal and see what happens. Now all the "true Ags" are filled with fury that their love for the SEC, which was always just another version of their bizarre self-love, is unrequited.
They're going to make everybody pay! (snarl, snarl) And then they'll be great.
Aggie--they want so badly to be an abusive spouse, but they can't find anyone stupid enough to marry them.
I mean, the joke is on us really...now that they've decided they're going to start winning, we'll just have to respect them.  Guess we should be happy that they've never thought to try, you know, winning...before...
They found the cultural fit with the schools in Mississippi, Alabama, and LSU. Cultural fit is their cute attempt at hiding the word racism.
They are further buried in academic standings there (UF, UGA, and Vandy), and have won considerably fewer titles than most of their conference mates.
The cultural fit they long for is pretty easy to figure out.
You think they’re capable of acting normal and they just consciously choose to be weird losers instead? They’re incapable.
So Nick Saban is Jules Winnfield, Sark is Vince Vega and Dumbo is Brett and aggy fans base is Marvin. Makes sense now, from the we don’t have NIL and Sabans response last year,
Jimbo and the "we don't have NIL" thing was amazing. Everybody is legally getting money into players hands except for aggy, and yet a bunch of 5 stars committed to aggy.
