That makes no sense? Because, as great as Jeremiah Smith is, those funds could be applied to getting 4-5 other great, proven players.

(it would be like trading Jokic for one second team all-NBA player, when you could easily get at least two for him).

Wait, what? This guy tried to murder his ex-wife? I need the full story. No wonder he hasn't seen his son, who I am sure is super pleased that his dad tried to commit murder.

I wish I knew, LonghornFrenzy will have to add more details.  That's all that is posted to twitter.

Well at least he didn’t break the Aggie honor code.

Hey, he didn't lie about trying to kill his wife.  He good.

Given the situation and his screen name, it makes you wonder just what it is he wants legalized.

Good bull

Holeee fuck. He’s not daddy98 famous but live seen that dudes handle over the years. Also lol at the guy “he choked his ex.” Choking is assault. Maybe attempted murder under crime of passion you plea down. Taking a plea of 14 years for capital murder, to me, means not only premeditation but soup to nuts had him cold and probably a history of violence.*

Attempted murder, as opposed to actual murder, suggests he displayed inaccuracy under pressure. Might be Connor Weigman.

Soon to be overtaken by being raped in prison.

These seem to be the charges he pled down on:

Holy shit. If we ever needed a reminder that TexAgs is the weirdest message board on earth, there it is.

Surly/shag is not exactly a stranger to murderous posters. Mental illness and criminality happens in both camps.

I wouldn't get a school ring, but i guess i get it.

I don't understand taking a picture under a giant ring holding a placard for the momentous occasion of ordering the ring.

I really don't understand dressing like a homeless dude who just played basketball in the picture

And I really really don't understand posting it for other humans to see.

"If you could take what you know now, and go back 7 years to your former self, what would you say? What lesson would you try to impart?"

- AggieTherapist, probably

It's so weird, that anyone would actually think that way.

Some around here know that I'm married to an aggie, who comes from a large family of aggies.  All of her direct relations are great, normal people.  Some of the extended cousins and aunts and uncles are a bit extreme, but I rarely have to see or interact with them.

But it would never have occurred to me, to ask if there's anything I should know about dating an aggie girl.  Because the majority of them are normal.  And it never occurred to her to ask anyone if there's anything she should know about dating a longhorn guy.  Because why would it make any difference?

Internet fringe fans are weird across the board, but theirs are by far the weirdest.

I would be more concerned about that age gap, not so much the years, but a nearly 30-year old man should have little in common with a sophomore in college.

So, let me rehash this for everyone here...

This dude pleas down a bunch of charges (see above) to a 14-year sentence (for now what is attempted capital murder) after he (allegedly) strangled his ex-wife and threatened to kill her if she called the police (among other things) in front of their two-year-old son. Ex-wife now has a lifetime restraining order on him.

AssholeConner.thumb.jpg.db6f57181049766023712686daf5c966.jpg

Then, on the morning he is set to go to jail, he gets married at the courthouse at 7am to an attractive elementary school teacher with three kids of her own; ostensibly so they can have conjugal visits.

Oh, and of course, they both maintain the ex-wife (victim) is the crazy one in this whole situation.

WTF is wrong with these people?!

Also, check out this troll job by someone in her engagement announcement...

Also- I like how he said his life is about the change for good.

And- can he not post from prison?

And- his new old lady can get it. Not from me, I’m married and not an aggy murderer. But I got some single lonely Longhorn buddies in Houston that would tell her they were aggy criminals in exchange for 45 seconds in that puss.

apparently I don’t know where Hood county is.

Well,some woman married this guy...

Screenshot_20250205_171344_Google.jpg

Looks like whoever said it likely wasn't a first offense was probably correct. He was arrested in July of last year for what I assume is the attempted murder charge and May of 2022 on a strangulation charge. And those are just the times he got caught.

I hope his new wife gets the fuck out before he's released

The list of idiotic women thinking that they truly understand their incarcerated lover in a way the rest of society can't is a very, very long one. I worked in a maximum security prison and believe me, there were no shortage of letters and love requests from outside admirers to the morally vacant ingrates that inhabited that place.

I've mentioned a time or two that a close friend of mine murdered his GF when we were 18.  He's been locked up since 3 or 4 days after the murder.  He got married about 20 years ago.

fucking weird.
